Brooke has lived in a broken family her whole life. She's never felt loved by her family, never felt loved by anyone, really. Her family fell apart when she was 5. Her Dad started cheating on her mom, and her mom became an alcoholic. She had to forget about the fact that she wasn't good enough for her husband somehow, right? Her brother was pretty messed up too. After years of their dad abusing them, he turned to drugs. Heroine, weed, cannabis, you name it, he does it. Brooke was the only normal one. She'd never even been depressed. Sure, sometimes she cried after her dad abused her, but other wise all she did was write songs. After her old neighbor saw her dad hit her in the kitchen, they quickly moved before they could be taken away from their parents. Now they were living in this rich neighborhood, in this big house that felt ever so empty. What will Brooke do as she finally has a chance to have a friend and finally have a chance to be normal for once? Will she break the act her family puts on, or will she continue living in her own dollhouse?
