3 days later...

Marks POV
Its been a week since jasmine has been missing, 3 days since we visited the alleyway and 7 days where our lives have been sucked in by misery and distraught.

Everyday has been the same. Literally.
Crying ourselves to sleep, waking up at the crack of dawn to walk out into the mid summer air. Still crying are we? Yeah course we are. Losing someone you love is like a chunk of your heart being ripped out your chest and thrown down the gutter. Or maybe, your scared, incase you forget them.

Everyday, we are searching for Jasmine and not giving up until my little girl is embraced in a warm heart fulfilled hug smothered with love and happiness.

Jasmines POV.
Everyone is staring down at me. Looking at my dirt stained rags which are supposed to be called clothing.
They look at my rat-tails, my hair, which everyday looks like i have been dragged through a bush, backwards.
They look at me like am a kid whos been abadoned, BUT I DONT WANT THEM TO THINK OR LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT.

because thats not the truth....

And the police are always on my case. They havent caught a glimpse of me yet but that ear piercing sound has at least rang through my ears 3 times.

So right now, I'm walking along the beach in the mid summer air sending cold little chills down my spine making me shudder.

I watch the last of the ships getting ready to set sail, everyone getting aboard with there tickets.

Without even thinking, I start causally walking towards the numerous ships; lined up to take on the sea.

I see a family of four; two children and two adults. I walk up to them and pretend to be in with their family. The children look at me suspiciously. I raise my eyebrows at them.

The parents give the man the tickets so we can aboard the ships. Hah. He dosen't even suspect a thing about me.

He dosent suspect that, that family are all dressed in clean, floral smelling clothes. And then there's me...
Who stinks of gutter and is wearing dirt stained clothes and also carrying a crate of water.

I apart from their happy smiling family and go to the front of the boat. I hear the clank of the rope falling into the sea.

Soon enough, we are rocking back and forth over the waves that are coming from beyond us.

If I couldn't get away from them by running, it will have to be by transport.

I don't know where this ship is going, another country? I don't know. maybe.

But soon enough. I'll be saying hello to a whole new world and a whole new country.
