"Sure," I smiled lightly and held it gently. Brent and me have been dating for two weeks now. Those weeks now have been the best weeks of my life. We walked along side the shore. At that moment... I swore we were infinity. There is no way possible I could ever let go to the thought of leaving him. He was mine forever and I was his forever. I loved him.

NEWS FLASH.

Young 17 year old  Brent has gotten lost at Lake Dunham. 2 weeks of  search and none to be found. Joanne Lee Kert (mother) and Tom Finney Kert hadn't noticed him all day on February 13th and finally knew that he was setting up a Valentine's Day gift for Rose Anne Hathaway. The search will continue on until February 30th. We hope to find him.

My tears fell out.. my voice getting shaker as I talked to Mal. "T-this is all m-my fault."

"Rose. It isn't your fault just pray that he gets to be found. He will probably still be thinking about you even if he isn't ever found. I think everyone in this town will be praying for him.. Right along with me." Mal told me.

"Mal! Your mom's here!" My mom called.

"Bye, hope things get better." she said softly.

"Bye Mal I will text you." I said back.

I didn't know the words to explain how much I missed him.. and I only saw him yesterday. Every song I heard reminded me of him.. well every love song at least. I wanted him to just show up at my door with flowers, come watch a movie with me, and just snuggle.

"You okay honey?" my mom asked opening the door slowly.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I lied.

"Just call me if you need anything me and your dad are going to Beck and Sherrys." she assures me.

"Mhm."

She shuts the door. I clicked on my TV and looked through the channels. threw was too many sad movies so I turned on Disney Channel... yes I still watch it. It makes my heart swelling of growing up stop.

I picked up my phone. 5 unread messages from Brent.

I opened them.

"Happy Valentine's Day ♡"

"Wake up beautiful"

"Hey I have a couple surprises for you."

"Open your window"
