"If you don't hold your tongue then I'll hold it for you, directly detached from your throat" you growled as you stood straight in front of Loki's cell.

Loki chuckled behind you in his chair his legs on the table relaxed "Oh come now dear you used to be much more fun" he said with a teasing smile.

It's been a few days since you had been assigned to the god of mischief also known as your ex fiancé, in order to insure the safety of Asgard and the remaining nine realms.

You turned slightly to glare his way "Maybe that's why you took me so lightly" you stated your spear in hand, your grip on it tightening threateningly.

Loki's smile vanished before he sighed his teasing forgotten as he said "how many times must I say that I'm sorry for you to forgive my restless soul?" He whispered truly saddened and you turned from him.

"None." You said before gritting your teeth "Because I don't and I doubt I ever will accept it".

Loki frowned before he leaned back into his chair "I've always had a way with words my little dove, I won't yield until you forgive me" he said confidently.

You didn't say anything and you snorted as he said so before you suddenly felt a low rumble come from above. You and Loki both stood on end and you glared upwards before you put a hand to the cells walls.

Your eye's closed before you tilted your head and you felt low rumbles from above before a heavy thud and your eye's popped open "There's been an attack on Asgard!" You yelled to the guards around you.

They all immediately spiked up before their weapons were unsheathed and they began readying for battle. Half of them left while the others stayed to guard the prisoners.

You were a guard assigned to stay.

Loki seemed alittle worried "This isn't a normal attack (y/n)" he stated gazing upward towards his ceiling and you looked back at him questionably.

Suddenly, the doors to the prisoners headquarters were burst open. Your eye's widened and you growled before you stood your ground with your staff in hand.

You gasped as the intruders came into sight stepping through the doorway fierce and made of metal.

Destroyer's. More then one.

You turned sharply when you heard a slightly bang from Loki's cage before he helped from a mild shock "(y/n)! Gah! Let me out!" He cried his fists on the wall shocking him slightly making him stumble back.

You looked at him doubtfully but, hesitated in your doubts. Loki was the one who sent the first destroyer to Thor in order to kill him while he was banished to Midgard. Why should you trust him now?

You turned from him as the other guards came from their posts to confront the half a dozen destroyers. You twirled your staff in hand before the destroyers lunged.

You dodged a swipe to the head by ducking before slipping under the metallic being and swinging at the back of its knees. However, it stepped forward making you miss and it's whole body turned before swinging at you.

You flipped backwards narrowly missing another destroyers lunge that was meant for someone else. You landed and brought your staff up as the destroyer brought it's forearm down on you violently. You grunted at the force before your eyes widened as the other hand was free and went forward to your abdomen.

However, with a slight grunt you forced tour body upwards your feet meeting the wall before you climbed up backwards and flipped over the destroyer. You looked over at Loki's imprisonment and he looked at you in awe and worry before you debated on releasing him once more.
