I woke up in a hospital room.
I saw a huge window next to the bed i laid on.
I was so confused and hurt.
"Oh thank goodness you're alive!!!"i heard a nurse with dirty blond hair say as she walked in with a clipboard in her hands.
"What happened? How long have i been here?"i said to the nurse.
"You don't remember? Well you were found in an alley way by your sister. A little girl led her to you. Your sister called the police and an ambience came and took you here. You got shot by a gun on your shoulder and hit your head accidentally on a sidewalk that gave you a small bruise for a few days. You've been unconscious for about a week straight."said the nurse
"No wonder my shoulder and head hurts."i said
"I'll bring you some pancakes if you like"said the nurse as i responded with a nodded.
She then walked out leaving me alone.
I sat myself up on the bed and looked around the room i was in.
After a few minutes, the nurse came back with a huge stack off pancakes.
"Thank you."i said as i began to eat.
"I'll called your sister to see you. She said she'll be here in a few minutes."said the nurse and she gave a warm smile to me.
I then heard another person at the front desk i think taking someone to my room.
"Sis thank goodness you are ok. Who did this to you?"she said
"The guy who was dead next to me"I said.
"I'll leave you girls alone."said the nurse as she walked out.
"The others will be coming soon. It's been one whole week!!!You missed Spring break."she said while hugging me.
"My...shoulder..."i said as she gave me a tight hug.
"Sorry."she said as she let go.
"Ali?!?!"i heard someone say. I looked at the door to see Elizabeth, Irena, Sheridan,Ana,Aria,Nick , and cole at the doorway.
"Are you ok ?!?!"yelled Elizabeth as she ran to me.
"I'm fine "i said with a small laugh.
"Thank god"said Sheridan "who shot you?!?!"yelled Aria
"The dude who was found dead."i said
"You killed him?!?!"said Ana
"Are you again possessed with that shadow?"said Nick
"No. I got rid of her. I made my choice. She should be gone!"i said
"Are you at least ok?"said Cole in a calm yet nervous voice.
I ignored him.
"Mrs..."said the nurse as she came in
"Ashley."she Said
"Mrs Ashley. Your sister can go home today, but there are some cautions i want to talk to you about."said the nurse as she and Ashley walked out of the room.
"Yay you can get out now from this boring hospital!!!"said Aria
"I'm gonna check on your sister "said Sheridan as she,Elizabeth, and Ana walked away.
"I'm gonna grab some water."said Irena as she walked out.
"I'll be right back"said Aria and she ran out.
It was only me and the boys left.
"Why did you guys came?"i said looking at them.
"You're a person we know. A friend."said Nick
"I thought that we are enemies. For i did defeat you in a fight."i said
"That doesn't prove anything!!!"said Nick as me and him began to laugh.
Cole was looking out of the huge window, but i ignored the fact that he was here.
"I'm gonna grab some soda. Want any?"he asked
"Uhhh...how about cherry cola."i said with a smile as he nodded and left.
"I don't understand why you're angry at me,"said cole in a serious yet quiet tone as he continued to look out the window.
I continued to ignore him.
"What did i even do to you?"he asked me still looking at the window.
I wanted to yell.
I wanted to scream.
Yet he won't leave.
I took a deep breath .
The nurse came in and i finally walked out without any problems.
When we got outside the hospital, i heard cole and nick talking.
"You know why I'm angry. Because you are being a huge jerk!!!
One little offer i do for all of you and here you are. Talking advantage with your popularity. I could have chosen to kill all of you over and over again. But i didn't!!!"i yelled at him.
My hands became fists until Ashley pulled me away from him.
"Is that really all you're mad about?"he said it in a small yet meanful question.
He began to walk away and so did Nick.
Next thing i knew he was gone.
I had tears forming in my eyes. I turned to Ashley and cried into her pink shirt.
After a few minutes, i was done crying and me and Ashley went to her car.
"Ali?"said Ashley
"Yeah"i said through sniffles
"Was that really your choice?"she said
"To be remembered by my mistakes or relive them" i said in a whisper but loud enough so she can hear.
"Come on . Lets go home."she said and began driving.
I never knew that a 19 year old can get hurt by a 18 year old...
