"I love you Max." He said looking down at me.

"You know I love you too." I smiled. He smiled before leaning down and kissing me. I could never get enough of his kisses, I was addicted.

"You're my forever. I hope you always know that." My heart skipped a beat as I ran my hand through his hair. He was so handsome and every day I counted my lucky stars I got call him mine.

Suddenly everything turned dark and I was looking around trying to figure out my surroundings.

"Max! Max! MAX!" I could hear him screaming for me. "MAX!"

"Teddy? Where are you?" I cried out. I followed his voice as he continued to cry my name. I realized I was in the old house walking down the familiar hallway. Once I reached the bottom of the staircase the screaming stopped. I looked around to see where he'd gone but I couldn't find him.

"Teddy?" I cried turning wildly trying to find him.

''MAX!"

Bruises. Sirens. Hospitals. Everything was flashing in quick succession that I couldn't get much detail.

I could see it all happening before my eyes like a movie I couldn't turn off. I felt like I couldn't breathe and my whole body was in pain. I just wanted to curl into a ball and rock back and forth until everything went numb.

"What happened ma'am?" A voice sounded. I looked up but couldn't find the source of the voice. I was in complete darkness.

"Max! Help me!" I could hear his voice again but still couldn't pinpoint him.

"MAX!"

"TEDDY!" I screamed.

"Teddy!" I cried out waking up. I sat upright and looked around the room in a panic. I was back in my hotel room in London and I was heaving as my heart felt like it was going to beat out of my chest.

With it being 2 am here in London I knew it was about 7 pm back in Huntington. So I called the only person I could think of.

"Hello?" Val's hesitant voice answered after the second ring.

"Hey Val." I said.

"Isn't it almost 2 or 3 am there? What are you doing up?" One thing I loved about Val is no matter how mad she was at you she never failed to slip into motherly mode if she felt it was necessary.

"Couldn't sleep." I mumbled.

"What happened?"

"Nightmare." I said.

"About your parents or Ted-"

"The second one." I cut her off. Hearing his name was just too much right now.

"Okay." She said slowly. She knew this was sensitive territory and she had to tread lightly. "What was it about?"

"The night."

"Oh Max." She said sympathetically.

"I just...I don't want to be alone right now." I sighed. "I'm in this massive city with millions of people, yet I've never felt more alone." I rambled.

"I wish I could give you a hug." She sighed after a minute.

"I'm sorry. For before and snapping at you." I said.

"No, I'm sorry. You're completely right, its your business and however you want to handle that whole situation is entirely up to you." She rebutted. "I'll stand beside you whatever decision you make."
