Chapter 2: Case Closed

Shawn said "Wait, JOHN WAS THE CLOWN??"

Daniel shouted "WHAT!?"

John sat on the floor "Wat, it wasn't me!"

Shawn shouted "TUN TUNN TUNNN"

Daniel asked "Were you spying on us?"

John slowly stood up and said "NO!"

After that, John looked at Daniel's gadgets and took one of them and pushed the teleport button.

Shawn and Daniel were shocked and looked at each other in amazement.

Daniel shouted "DUDE, THAT COSTED 1 MILLION!"

Shawn asked "Really!? What did he even take?"

Daniel answered "MY LAVA BLAST! We need to go where the heck he's going now!"

Shawn asked another question "Where could he even be right now?"

After minutes of thinking, Shawn said "A-ha, his house!"

Daniel asked "And why is that?"

Shawn answered "Because when I saw his clown suit, there was a ripped hole on it and that indicates that John is going to his house and sew it before he does anything else. Why you ask? Because remember last week he said he has OCD?"

Daniel said "Shawn you genius!"

Daniel asked another question "Wait, do you even know where his house is?"

Shawn answered "Let's use Google Maps!"

Daniel said "Lol, that was easier than i thought"

Shawn picked up a notepad and pencil, a pair of binoculars, 2 guns, handcuffs and a warrant card and put all of them in his backpack and said "Ok! Let's go."

Daniel and Shawn went to their van and went to John's house.

It was already night when they arrived near John's house.

Shawn said "That was a heck of a ride"

Daniel replied "True"

Shawn asked "What should we do first?"

Daniel answered "Let's go to a bush and peep through the window using our binoculars."

Shawn said "O-ok" and carried the backpack while Daniel slowly opened the van doors.

They crouched and slowly went to a nearby bush.

Daniel whispered "Give me the binoculars."

Shawn got a pair of binoculars from his backpack and gave it to Daniel. Daniel used the binoculars and used it to peep through the window.

Daniel said "John is having dinner so we have to wait until he goes to his room."

Suddenly, there was a loud rumbling sound.

Daniel whispered "Didn't you eat before going here?"

Shawn replied "Oops, I forgot ( o_o )"

Daniel got out a chocolate bar from his pocket and gave it to Shawn.

Before Shawn opened the wrapping, Daniel said "Wait! John finished dinner, let's go!"

Shawn said in a sad voice "But I haven't eat this chocolate yet"

Daniel replied "You'll eat it later."

Shawn put the chocolate bar in his backpack and followed Daniel through the back door.

The back door wasn't locked so they sneakily went in. Daniel followed Shawn upstairs. Shawn sneaked inside and covered John's mouth so that he won't shout.

Daniel said "Don't say a word or I will kill you" and showed him his gun.

Shawn let go of John's mouth and Daniel asked "Why did you steal the lava blast?"

John stuttered "B-because I know you guys have weapons so I stole the lava blast to kill Olivia before.... before..."

Daniel shouted "Before what!?"

John answered "B-before she kills my mother."

Daniel and Shawn were shocked and Daniel asked "Why does she want to kill your mother?"

John replied "Because 5 years ago, my mother accused Olivia of stealing and she was sent to prison for 5 years. Olivia said that she's gonna kill her by midnight."

Shawn noted all of it down in his notepad and said "Ok, don't kill her, just give us the lava blast and we will deal with her."

John got up and gave the lava blast to Daniel and said "Quick! Go to her house and I'll take care of my mother."

Daniel and Shawn ran out of the house and went to the van. Daniel quickly drove to Olivia's house. Both of them went out and saw Olivia getting ready. Daniel and Shawn jumped through an open window and went to Olivia's room. They both tried to stop her and Daniel threatened her using his gun and said "Give us your bag full of weapons!"

Olivia looked at them and put her hands up. She walked to the closet to give them her bag full of weapons. Suddenly, she turned around and shot Shawn in the arm. Shawn fell and Daniel took the handcuffs and used it on Olivia. When Olivia was handcuffed, Daniel went to Shawn and helped him up. Daniel asked "Shawn, are you ok?"

Shawn answered "I'm fine, I was just shot in the arm."

Daniel got his phone out and called the police and ambulance.

10 minutes later, the police came and arrested Olivia. The police thanked the 2 brave boys and a news reporter took a photo of them. Shawn was later sent to the hospital for recovery.

The next day, Daniel visited Shawn in the hospital and showed him the newspaper. Daniel said "Shawn...we're famous!"
