Part 20

There was no limit to Arjun's love and affection to her......She felt that it was increasing each day....from the day, she had broken down and put forth her insecurities of being an orphan, she felt that he was showering all the love which was due to her since childhood......She was ecstatic and overwhelmed!

The next 2 days were quite hectic wrapping up the case...the flower show concluded and there was a grand closing function.....everything went off smoothly and without any hiccups....

Riya was still not working on the case....but she wasn't idle too.....She had 2 major things on her agenda....She had to make Sanjay aka Salil go back to his family and also make him strong enough to face his life bravely.....She had taken it upon herself to get him back to a normal life....

She didn't abandon that thought after all the kidnapping and then her stint at the hospital......She had always thought Sanjay as a little brother and she felt a sense of responsibility towards him.....With Shree's help, she had talked to his parents and convinced them to accept Sanjay with open arms....and never to taunt him and weaken his self confidence......

She also motivated him and boosted his confidence level....He promised to her that he will mend his ways and also buck up his life to the right track......they promised to keep in touch and exchanged mail ids and numbers before Sanjay left for Bhopal back to his home....to his family....

Arjun had noticed her and also understood what she was upto but he didn't interfere much....he thought, if it gives her happiness, then be it.....

But not in his wildest dreams could he guess that next on her list was his reunion with his family.....

It was an herculean task.....much bigger than she thought.......Shree gave her all the available details about Arjun's family.....His family was in Mumbai, that itself came as a shock to her....never once, had he mentioned about them or thought about meeting them.......Riya wondered if the fight was so big......She was a bit apprehensive about proceeding on it but Arjun's love for her gave her the confidence.....she thought, trying once wouldn't do any harm!

Mr and Mrs Suryakant Rawte, his dad and mom lived in the suburbs of Mumbai....They had an ancestral property there .......Suryakant Rawte was a retired Lt Col from Indian Army .....Mrs Renuka Rawte was a house wife......Arjun was the youngest.....He had an elder sister, Anushka who was married and settled in the US.........Riya was also surprised that Anushka and Arjun were in talking terms and spoke once in a while......

Riya was a bit upset that she didn't know any of these for so long......Arjun had never hinted this to her....but yeah, it was just a few days before that Riya became an important part of his life......So she couldn't expect him to open up so soon.......
