– Brooke's POV –
It's been about a month since everything happened.

I haven't talked to Jace, he won't talk to me no matter how much I try.

Debbie and I are really good friends and Carl and I are best friends.

I stay over there a lot to get my mind off things.

I really fucked up and I know I did. I haven't talked to any guys relationship wise except Carl and I have a thing.

– Carl's POV –
I was coming back from my drug run when I saw Brooke on her porch.

I walked over and sat down next to her and she looked sad.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"He has a new girlfriend" she said slowly.

"Look, Brooke. I know you're sad trust me but it's been a month. You can't keep locking yourself in your house all day" I said sympathetically.

"You're right.."

"Let's go back to your house" she said

We got to my house and nobody but Debbie was home.

"So, do you guys know Jace from across the street?" Debbie asked.

– Debbie's POV –
Jace from across the street is like my best friend now.

We were playing basket ball earlier and he kissed me..

I have to tell Brooke but once her and Carl came in she looked sad and they both sat on the couch.

I don't know what she's sad about but Carl was holding her.

"So, do you guys know Jace from across the street?" I asked.

"Yeah, him and I were friends" Brooke replied.

"Well, he kissed me!" I said happily.

"No way, really?" Brooke popped up and asked.

"Yeah, but I gotta go. Him and I are going on a date" I said and walked out.

– Brooke's POV –
"She's the one who's gonna date him?" I asked Carl.

"Well she doesn't know y'al dated, babe"

"How am I ever gonna feel better if he's always around?" I said being serious

"You could always blow me to feel better" he said.

I raised my eyebrows

"And how would that make me feel better, "babe"" I said mocking him at the end.

"It'd sure as hell make me feel better" he winked.

"Haha, maybe some other time" I said sarcastically

And he held my hand after that.
