It is twenty minutes into lunch and Edd is becoming worried over the fact that Tom isn't there yet.
"Hmm. Wonder when Tom'll get here?" Edd questioned.
"Maybe he had to stay late in a class again." Matt said.
"Yea maybe" Edd said as he got even more concerned as time passed.
"Um well if he ain't coming I could go." Tord said scooting over.
"No don't leave! You're not allowed!" Edd says pointing at Tord. The red hooded man looks very confused.
"Um ok?" He says.
"Maybe I should go look for him!" Matt suggested.
"That's a great idea Matt! You go and I'll stay with Tord!" Edd said excitedly.
As Matt runs off to find Tom, Tord and Edd stay to talk about their lives and about the other two as well.

Matt leaves the cafeteria and off to find Tom. He checks all the spots he could be in. Near his locker, outside by the trees, the bathroom, and sneaks a look in windows of classrooms, but no Tom. Matt walks in a circle for a minute wondering where Tom could be. Then he remembers a spot he forgot to check. He runs to the back of the school, climbs a concrete half wall, into a tree, and onto the roof of the school. As Matt stands up he almost falls off from the force of the wind up there. He then noticed Tom sitting on the opposite side near the edge just looking outwards. Matt makes his way over to Tom and sits down next to him.
"So what's up Tom?" Matt says putting a hand on Toms shoulder.
Tom flinches from hearing the voice and the touch of Matt.
"Oh, uh, nothing" Tom says sighing. Matt looks at Tom seriously trying to read his emotions.
"Tom. There is something up." Matt says. Tom stays silent. "You know you can trust me, right?"
"I guess..." Tom pauses. "Well it looked like you and Edd were having fun with Tord and I guess it sorta felt like you were replacing me with HIM." Tom said trying to hide the fact he wants to burst out crying.
"Oh Tom, we could never replace you! You're the only person who is such a dick sometimes and a good friend at others that it'd be hard to find a replacement!" Matt says smiling at Tom who looks unamused at the comment about him being a dick (Matt is innocent bean).
The pair then decide to walk back to the cafeteria all the while Matt is talking about how nice Tord really is.
"I really do wonder why he has no friends." Matt says frowning
"Well I can't figures out why!" Tom says sarcastically then does his 'lame' face. "He does carry a firarm on him! And loves to threaten people and harm them too! Yep! Really can't figure out why. -_-
"Gee you don't gotta get angry over it." Matt says looking at Tom.
"Eh." Is all he answers with.
