My name is Carolina. Everyone calls me Carrie. My parents divorced when I was 7 years old because of them "falling out of love", but I know that's a crock of shit. My mother, Maryanne, always wanted me to date a "nice boy", and have kids when I get older, but she grew frustrated because I am a lesbian. I live with my father, Patrick Novak, and he is 100% okay with me being gay. I've had a couple flings here and there, and he was always supportive of my relationships. He owns Novak Enterprise, so I guess you could say my family is a pretty big deal.
Recently, my dad has found love again, with a woman named Katrina Mills. She is an amazing woman, and even accepts my sexuality. They have been dating for a couple years now, and my dad has already to ask her to marry him. He took me to dinner last week, and asked for my blessing, and I was truly happy for him, so I have consented. I happen to like Katrina; she's super nice, extremely gorgeous, and she's the second woman in my life to come to terms with my sexuality. The first, is our drop-dead sexy maid, Valorie. She was actually the first person I told, and she was very kind, and supportive about it. She was the one who encouraged me to come out to my parents--the one who encouraged me to make my mom leave. But I don't resent Valorie for that. I appreciate everything she does for me and my dad. It is true that maids don't get paid very much from there bosses. So every now and then, I'll pay Valorie $200 extra, or whatever I feel like giving her, on top of what my dad pays her--$300 a month. I know she needs the money, and it's not like I'm giving her more of my dad's money; it's my money. I have my own job. (I know, a shocker isn't it?Rich girl who has everything she could ever need, and is a daddy's girl who gets her way all the time has a paying job in society?! *gasps* I like to work for my own things, and make my own money.) You could say I'm driven; I get it from my dad.
My father's wedding is in exactly 2 weeks, my birthday--the big 1-8--following week after. Katrina has asked me to be her Maid of Honor. I have gratefully accepted, and she even asked Valorie to be a brides maid! Valorie was so happy when Katrina asked, and I let Katrina know in private that is was a really cool thing she did for Valorie; this is the first wedding she's attended, let alone been in. This week, we're getting Katrina moved into the house as quickly as possible, and putting the final touches on the schedule for The Big Day.
