Carolina
Ohmygod.
What just happened???
Valorie kissed me.
Valorie Wells kissed me. On the lips.
Now I'm rushing around, trying to avoid Katrina's gaze, rethinking about what went down in the kitchen, the whole time I'm unpacking all these boxes, I'm thinking that Katrina knows what happened. How, I don't know, but somehow, Katrina suspects something happened in the kitchen.

(An hour later...)
I'm in my room when I hear my dad call my name.
"Carolina! Come downstairs please!!"
Fuck. Somehow, he must've found out about what happened earlier.
With my heart in my throat, and my pulse pounding in my ears, I manage to walk down the stairs. I hear movement in the kitchen, so I head there. I try my best face at not looking guilty about anything, but immediately relax; he's brought home pizza.
"What's up, Dad? How was work?"I lean against the counter, snagging a slice.
"Ohh, the ususally. Busy, busy, busy. Where's Katrina and Val?" He says, glancing around the kitchen. Just then, Katrina appears.
"What about me, darling?" She says practically gliding toward him, to give him a kiss. My father snakes an arm around her waist and smiles lovingly, and pulls her in for a short, but passionate, kiss, and squeezes her bum playfully; Katrina giggles, and glances at me then clears her throat. I admire the affection my father gives Katrina, but sometimes, it can be a little much, if you know what I mean.
My father takes the hint, and wraps his arms around her front, and she holds onto his grip and they both look at me.
"How was school today, Carrie?" My fahter asks placing his head on Katrina's shoulder.
I'm halfway through my first piece of pizza, when Valorie saunters into the kitchen. I practically choke.
"Valorie, it's so nice to see you this evening! Will you be joining us for dinner?" My dad says. How can he possible look at her without drooling!? She's practically naked.
(**this is what Val is wearing**)
"Maybe in a minute. I'm just going to do a few laps in the pool, if you don't mind? I won't be long." She gives him a polite smile and gracefully walks out onto the patio. I'm still watching Val walk out the door, when I hear throat clear once, twice, loudly, three times. I turn my head and see Katrina staring at me and she raises her eyebrows.
"Honey, I know it's late, and you just got home, but do you think you could go to the store right quick? While Carrie and I were unpacking, I noticed that we needed a few things when I went to make us a snack. I wrote a list; it's on the counter over there." Katrina said the whole time looking at me. I slightly furrow my eyebrows in confusion, and she discreetly acted like she was going to scratch her nose, but ended up putting her finger to her lips, shushing me.
"Of course, sugar. I'll be back in about an hour or so, okay with you, Carrie?" He looks at me expectantly, and I nod.
"Yeah, sure." He leaves Katrina's side, grabs his things to leave, and kisses us both on the cheek.
And with that, he left.
"God, I thought he'd never leave." Katrina says smirking at me. I don't know what she's thinking right now, but I have a feeling it's something that shouldn't be thought about...
