Chapter 8:)

........................................................................A year later............

It's been a year since me and Brandon started to live together. We graduated high school and now are going to college. We moved to Britain and are going to Neko Academy and we are having a lot of fun. We live in a flat by campus. Me and him made new friends who are also neko's. I have met his mother a few times and against what Jeanette thought, she actually likes me. She is like the mum I never had. " Morning Babe, how did you sleep?" I heard Brandon ask when I was thinking to myself. " I slept ok. You didn't because you were kicking all night. You ok?" i shrugged and walked towards the fridge. " Do you want cereal or eggs? Or both?" i shook my head at him and walked towards him. " I don't want anything. I have to get ready for our first class." I walked upstairs to get ready for school. I was about to leave when Brandon stopped me at the door. " Y/N wait up! After your last class, wait in the corridor. I need to talk to you after school." I looked up at him,confused. " Why can't you just ask me now? It's just us here." He kissed my forehead. " I need to ask you about....a class. I can't ask you now because it's your last class."i said ok and left for school on my bike. Since we moved in together Brandon spoils me and bought me my own motorbike.

When I got to school, i was greeted by my friends but, no Brandon. I looked around but couldn't find him. " Hey guys, have you seen Brandon?" I asked my friends. They all said no so i decided to look around again. I walked to the back of the school and found him on the ground, being beat up. I jumped on the main guy and bit his neck with my fangs. He pushed me off and grabbed his neck.

" Guys, lets go. I didn't know he had a psycho b*tch as a girlfriend. Bye Cat Boy. we'll be back for psycho b*itch later"

After they left, i ran over to Brandon to see if he was ok. "Brandon, are ok? Can you stand?" He nodded and stood, grabbing his side. "What happened? Why were they beating on you?" I tried to see if he was alright but when i tried to move his hand, he cringed in pain.

"Bad drug deal and i was in the wrong place at the wrong time. That one guy you attacked, He had a knife and stabbed me. Why were you being so stupid? You could've gotten really hurt printesa mea pisoi. Please don't do that again."After he said that I got really defensive.

"Brandon. I wasn't gonna let them kill you. I'm not as weak as most people see me as. I can fight and defend people I love. If I didn't step in, you would have been dead. You shouldn't be back here in the first place." after that I was done with the conversation, so i stormed off. I walked to first class in a fit of anger. When the professor was talking, i got a note thrown on my desk.

I'm sorry my princess. Please don't be mad at me.

I'm not mad. I just want to know why were you behind the school in the first place?

I was back there because those guys threatened to hurt everyone I loved

Why? They don't even know you. Or do they?

The main dude is my brother.

I threatened to tell his dad about the drugs.

By the time i got the note back, the bell rang. I walked with Brandon to our next class. " Are you ok Brandon? You looked like you were in pain this morning." he nodded and took to the side of the school. He lifted his shirt and showed me. He had a deep cut in his side. He wrapped it with an old t-shirt. I started to cry seeing him in pain. He reached to my face and wiped my tears. "Babe don't worry, it doesn't hurt that much." I could obviously tell he was lying. I walked class with him and just ignored the truth. After school we just went home and i made dinner. "About this morning, what did you want to ask me?" I said as we were eating. He got a serious look on his face. I got scared for what was about to happen.
