The Date

History was quickly over, followed by astronomy and elective. (Y/N) skipped out of the school and started to jog home.

"Hey (Y/N)!"

She glanced back to see Paperjam running towards her. She smiled and turned around. He stopped in front of her, panting heavily.

"You *pant* are really fast *pant* aren't cha'?"

"I'm not that fast."

He had a '😒' face. She just giggled.

"Anyway, what did you need PJ?"

Suddenly his face was magenta.

"Huh?"

In truth, Paperjam was planning to ask (Y/N) on a date. But, he was new to this kind of stuff. Yes, he was usually asked out, but he was new to asking out. He took a deep breath before taking her hands in his. She blushed lightly and looked up at him.

"P-PJ?"

"(Y/N) do you want to go to (fav restaurant)?"

"Like a date?"

"Uh yes, wait no, um."

She giggled and let go of his hand.

"Just let me see if it's okay with my parents."

She took out her phone and started a call with someone. As soon as she asked "Can I go with him?" she pulled the phone away from her ear as they other person yelled. She quickly went into rant mode. A minute later, she handed the phone to him. He gave a confused look, but she motioned him to take it with her head. He gulped and put it up to his ear lobe.

"Is this Paperjam?"

"Yes, is this Mr. (L/N)?"

"Yes. So you have asked my daughter on a date?"

"More of hanging out, sir. But it could be considered a date, yes."

"I see. How can I be sure my daughter will be safe with you?"

"My father is Coach Error, a teacher at our school. And I have no criminal record."

"Hmm."

Okay, that was a lie. Not that being Error's son, that was true, but the crime...just ask the police and they'll roll their eyes and groan. He got in trouble all the time, not that anyone really knew. Chara was pretty wealthy-don't go thinking about Jealous Lines-and a pretty good friend of Paperjam, so he usually bailed him out.

"Alright. Have fun, you two. But one thing...

He hung up and left him shaking. That was the same tone that she had used once before.

"So what did dad say?"

He turned to her.

"We can go."

She squealed loudly and ran around in a circle.

"Hey, what's so important about 10, Little Bean."

Suddenly, she stopped. She looked at him with a sad expression.

"I have...dissociative identity disorder..."

They stood in silence for a bit.

"...What's that?"

She went into the 'Urk' position.

"I...have split personalities."

"Ohhhhh."

Gave her a kiss on the forehead/top of her head.

"Don't worry, that won't change a thing little bean."

The date turned out quite fun. They had a nice dinner at (fav restaurant), taking many pictures since there was a nice view of the sunset. Multiple times people came up to them saying how cute a couple they were. They were embarrassed to explain they were just friends. Paperjam walked (Y/N) home, talking and laughing about the stupidest of things. They stopped in front of a (small-large) house and pressed the doorbell. A beautiful chime rang through the night. Not a moment later, a man opened the door. He was tall, had dark brown hair in an army cut, dark brown eyes, and was wearing camo pants and a grey shirt.

"Welcome home, Sweet Pea."

She gave him a tight before going inside. He motioned Paperjam to come in, who followed nervously. They sat down and (Y/N) came back with a woman. She had dark brown army-bob hair, brown eyes, a camo top, and long jean shorts.

"See mom! This is my new friend, Paperjam!"

"Hello! I'm Jessica! And this is my husband, Brandon!"

Brandon grunted. 

'An introvert and an extrovert.'

Brandon was tall, but Jessica was short. Guess that explain's (Y/N)'s height. Paperjam stood up and started to leave. 

"It was nice to meet you, Jessica and Brandon, but I need to leave."

"Aw. So soon?"

"It's okay (Y/N)! You can see him tomorrow!"

"Hmm. Okay! Bye Paperjam!"

"Bye Little Bean!"

He left and started to walk home.He muttered on his way home.

"What's so scary about your 'other personality'?"
