Lisa's POV

I went inside and saw my parents enjoying their moments in the kitchen while Mr. Park was watering the garden at the backyard, "I'm back."

My parents and Mr. Park turned around as they gave me a smile, "Welcome back." 

I sighed harshly, feeling tired from overthinking. I noticed they were secretly looking at me in full of worry, "I'm just tired." 

I reassured them with a weak smile, "Were you thinking about someone?" 

Mr. Manoban asked seriously, making her feel even more depressed, "Yeah, I was." 

I then revealed her sincere feelings about Jungkook, "I don't know if I'm doing right or wrong." 

Mr. Manoban and Mrs. Manoban took a glance on each other and asked at the same time, "What do you mean?" 

Lisa heaved a sigh, "I rejected him after his confession." 

She felt guilty and couldn't forget his expression after the rejection.

I had no choice... I'm studying abroad soon. 

Our conversation were interrupted when we heard a loud noise from the living room, which had us checked up on Mr. Park, "Mr. Park! Are you okay?" 

His fingers was bleeding and Mr. Park hid it from us when he faced me, "It was just a scratch."

Mr. Park explained calmly and left us hanging as he went to the backyard, continuing his duty. 

I began to think about Junghyun. 

How can you hide your identity from us? 

"I'm back!" Yoojung yelled happily and then stood stiffened after seeing us looking at her seriously, "D-Did I interrupt anything..?" Yoojung said nervously, making me chuckled at her nervousness. 

"You two should sleep. You have school tomorrow." 

I nodded my head as I took Yoojung with me to my room to have a serious talk. 

Jungkook's POV

I went back to the dorm in gloomy. It is as I expected, I'll never win her heart just like Taehyung. I didn't realize my phone was ringing the whole time because I was spacing out again.

It was surprisingly from Junghyun. 

Why is he calling at this time? 

"Yo, Jungkook!" Junghyun said in a loud voice, making me pulled my phone away from my ear.

I talked back cheerfully, "Hyung! Where have you been all this time?!"

He chuckled, "Aha, I'm sorry if I disappeared like that. I had my reasons."

Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows, "I'm upset that you never came back."

Junghyun confessed the truth, making me even more confused, "I did."

Jungkook stuttered his words, "W-When?"

He took a seconds to respond back, "I've been watching you, Jungkook. I don't think you'd notice me right away." 

I didn't understand what he was saying, but went with the flow, "Really? Then, I hope to see you soon once you found your family."

"How's your day?" 

I then remembered Lisa as I went back to looking gloomy, "I got rejected by someone. It was good, but bad at the same time."

I could tell he was smiling over the phone, "That's too bad. Ah, I've found them, but I didn't reveal my identity." 

I widened my eyes, "What are you saying? Why aren't you revealing yourself?"

He sighed harshly and sounded sad, "Now isn't the right time to reveal." 

I responded back, but stopped when I heard a familiar voice, "W-What do you mean-"

(on the phone) Lisa: "Mr. Park! Hurry and come over here!" 

- hangs up -

Jungkook spaced out after hearing Lisa's voice over the phone and mumbled, "Lisa..." 

D-Did I just hear Lisa's voice? W-Why's hyung with Lisa? 

I questioned myself about Lisa and Junghyun of how they knew each other. 

Since when? How? What's their relationship? 

Then, I remembered the conversation that I and Junghyun talked about awhile ago. 

"I've been watching you, Jungkook. I don't think you'd notice me right away. " I've found them, but I didn't reveal my identity. " Now isn't the right time to reveal. "

"N-No way... That bodyguard...was him?" 

Is this some kind of joke, Junghyun? 

I tried to calling him back, but but he didn't answer. I threw my phone aside as it breaks into pieces. I was so late to recognize him. I felt somewhat betrayed as his childhood friend for hiding everything from me.

Why did he keep it a secret from me?
