No one's POV

Lisa and Yoojung had a serious conversation in a good ways until the evening. They then made a dinner before their parents comes home, "This should be enough, right?"

Lisa nodded her head cheerfully as she organized the plates, forks and spoons, "I'll leave now to give this to Jungkook." 

Lisa brought a present with her and went to the backyard, not wanting to get caught.

"Girls, we're home!" said Mrs. Manoban out loud, making Yoojung feel more nervous on how to make excuses for Lisa, "Hmm, something's delicious coming from the dining table."

"Welcome home!" Yoojung greeted them.

Mr. Manoban chuckled happily, "Who cooked all of this?"

Yoojung responded calmly, "I did. I figured both of you will be tired from work."

Mrs. Manoban smiled at her and questioned Lisa's whereabouts, "How nice of you, Yoojung. Where's Lisa?"

Mr. Manoban furrowed his eyebrows, "She's not home yet?"

They both looked at Yoojung looking nervous and smiled cheekily at her, "Did she went to see that boy?" 

Yoojung raised her head up shockingly and nodded her head slowly, "That's okay. As long as it is him, we're good with it." 

Yoojung suddenly brightened up after hearing that. Meanwhile Mr. Manoban frowned to hear about it, "I'm not good with it. That boy irritates me." 

Yoojung and Mrs. Manoban chuckled at him in disbelief. 

Lisa's POV

I kept on running and running nonstop in hurry to give the present to him. I have arrived at his dorm and was about to go inside, but I heard familiar voices from the park.

Wasn't that Jungkook and Taehyung?

I became curious of what they could be talking about so I went to eavesdrop without getting caught, "So what's happened? Did both of you had a clear conversation?" 

Jungkook shrugged his shoulders weakly, "No. All I did was ask her about you and that's all."

Taehyung gasped in disbelief, "What?! Jungkook-"

Jungkook closed his eyes angrily, "It couldn't be helped anyways! I keep asking myself if I'm not good enough for Lisa and more."

Taehyung hissed angrily, "That's not the point! Her feelings, did you even ask her?"

Jungkook flinched at his tone, "No, I'm afraid to hear it. I don't want to."

"Then how the hell would you know if she likes you or not?"

"Hyung, please? Don't you see that I'm tired of having high hopes?"

"So are you just going to run away from your feelings?"

Jungkook was having many thoughts and closed his eyes while clenching his teeth, "Yeah." 

Lisa gasped shockingly and felt her tears coming out. Taehyung was shocked as well and went to grab his collar and punched him angrily, making Lisa scared with the situation, "I won't forgive you if you hurt Lisa."

Jungkook confessed, "See, you still care for her. That's what she liked about you-"

Taehyung gritted his teeth while looking at him, "Then what about Lisa's feelings?!"

Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows instantly, "Why do you keep insisting me to know her feelings? She's going to confess that she doesn't like me!"

"How can you be...so sure about it?"

"Same goes to you, hyung. How can you be so sure that she likes me? Huh? HOW!?"

"She told me a long time ago, Jungkook. I already knew before you. She has changed a lot because of you. She made the decision to leave for the better because of you. She was always feeling at ease and safe because you were there for her. She was always smiling because it's you, Jungkook. She usually comes to me, but not anymore. Is that not enough for you to realize her feelings? How can you be so dense?"

"How can I stop her from leaving when it was her decision to make?"

"Don't you like her? If so, then you wouldn't let her leave that easily! Will you just do nothing and let her leave like that?" 

Jungkook shook his head and refused to accept the truth.

There's no way she'd stay if I asked her not to leave.

"No, you're wrong. I have decided to let her go if she won't stay." Taehyung and I was not expecting him to answer that, which had us speechless. I was left in blank expression as I didn't know what to feel anymore.

Is that why he asked me that earlier?

It made me let go of the present slowly and they were startled with a sudden noise. Taehyung turned around and his eyes widened surprisingly, "L-Lisa." 

Jungkook looked at me surprisingly because I was crying without realizing that I was. Taehyung was having hard time to come up with excuses, "W-We are-" 

Then, I came back to reality as I immediately wiped my tears, "Don't make excuses."

Taehyung: "Since when?"

Lisa: "What?"

Taehyung: "Since when were you there?"

Lisa: "From the beginning."

Taehyung and Jungkook clenched their teeth and regretted for talking in public. They both never thought I would be there at such a timing. Jungkook didn't know how to explain the situation and before he could do that, I threw the present at Jungkook, "Ouch!" 

"Thank you for everything. I really do hope we stay friends, even in the future." 

I had no regrets and left them alone dumbfounded.

It was totally unexpected that Jungkook gave up on me easily.
