Graduation Morning

Half dead, empty, dazzled and blinded I slowly scrunch my eyes and squint at my apartment ceiling.
"Dude! What're you doing still in bed it's  10:50  and it's our graduation day!" My room mate Jack shouts.
"Leave me alone I'm sleeping," I murmur.
I feel a hard smack across my face.
"Dude what the fuck!" I shout.
My eyes shoot open to see Jack, standing in front of me with a pillow in his hands.
"We're going in 10 minutes," he said completely ignoring me.
I attempt to moan but my feet drag me round the house squeezing in my graduation clothes.
I smell my socks to check if it's safe to wear them, my face scrunches so hard I cringe and loose my grip on the socks.
I give them a quick spray with some deodorant and smell them again; not the best, but they'll have to do.
I shove a toothbrush in my mouth attempting to put on jeans at the same time, falling over in the process.
I double check the time 10:54!
I throw my shirt and tie on followed by my blazer, give myself a quick spray of aftershave and sprint to the kitchen to get breakfast.
"HAHAHA!" I hear a voice shout behind me.
I turn around to see Jack holding up a watch. What's he doing? What's so funny about the watch?
I squint harder to see if there's was a rude word on there or if he... he changed the time; 5:56, I look outside, sure enough, it's pitch black!
I scowl at him.
"Fuck you" I say giving up.
I take my clothes off one by one and flop back on my bed; Jack gives one last chuckle and does the same.

Janet walks up to me with a rather large smile on her face, she kisses me on the cheek and takes a step back, I look at her, puzzled. She then kneels down and pulls out a black box, she opens the box, revealing a ring and the words "marry me!" I look at her, I don't say anything, I just watch. I leave her waiting there for 5 minutes.
"Fine then screw you!" She shouts storming off.
But I don't move, I stand there, watch the whole scene.
A strange noise now fills my ears, I look around, I'm in the middle of a dessert, I focus on the noise.
As I focus more and more on the noise my brain starts to feel weird like it's changing dimensions.

My eyes shoot open and my ears listen to the ringing alarm clock makes my ears feel as if their bleeding, I smack it with my back hand, only to turn the volume up louder.
I squint at the clock attempting to locate the snooze button, while doing this I remember about the little prank jack pulled last night, then it gave me an idea.
"Karma," I whispered.
I rose from my bed with a grin, I hit the snooze button and I begin to get ready for the second time this morning.
I sneak in his room and take his alarm clock from the side of his bed, it's a really old fashion one so I have no idea how to use it, instead I just take the battery's out.
I wait until exactly 10:50 with a pillow in my hand, filled with evil and revenge.
It hits 10:50, i creep back into Jacks room. I stop.
"What the hell was that?" I say quietly.
I retrace my steps to look out the window. The large shadowy figure was gone.
"That just shows how tired I am!" I chuckle quietly.
I continue to walk into Jacks room. I walk around his bed, kneel down to his ear level and take my revenge.
"Dude! What're you doing still in bed it's  10:50  and it's our graduation day!" I shout at the top of my voice doing the best impression of him.
"Haha very funny; I'm not gullible like you," he said calmly.
He rolled over in his bed and squinted at his clock just to check if I was lying, he lays there puzzled for a second by what he can see, then he realises there's no battery's in his clock; he shoots up out of his bed, reaches for his phone and checks the time, before I can even say sorry he's out the room, getting ready.
"I didn't even get to hit him with the pillow," I whine, sulkily, dropping the pillow and leaving the room in disappointment.
As I leave the room I glance at the window again.
"There it is again!" I whisper.
But it just disappears, it doesn't move, it just disappears, before I even get a chance to examine it.
"I'm not even on a hangover!" I laugh.
