Veronica Lodge P.O.V
"Betty! Hey! where are you? We've been waiting for you at the diner for over 30 minutes! You said you'd be here by 8 its beyond 8 where are you? Just call me back when you can okay? Jughead is worried and personally coming from New York and not hearing back from your friend usually means your either lost, busy, or hooking up with someone if you're not running away from a murder."
I stared at Jughead trying to come up with some reason to make him calm down, he was mad but scared at the same time, ever since Jason Blossoms death the town has become more evident with their enemies : The Serpents. The sheriff of the town and also Casey Cott's father decided to question the Serpents, a seemly small act but oh how it had seemed like we had finally tipped the edge of the iceberg and where now walking on thin glass around each other.
Obviously Jughead now knew that his father was also apart of the serpents and knew that his fathers declaration to step back into being a 'regular' father would never be accomplished, Jughead knew better than to hope.
"Listen maybe she fell asleep and she forgot to send us a text or something. It's Betty Jughead seriously stop worrying that girl may look fragile but she's as strong as a Cheryl Blossom when she finds her next victim to sink her arms into and call him her 'army candy' or whatever the she devil likes to call them" a small corner of his lips quirked up, it was a sign that he was feeling a little better - but who was I to judge Betty was never late and she had a phone in her room so where was she right now when her boyfriend and I where freaking out?
Archie had called us earlier today telling us he would be to busy to come in for our dinner date today because he had football practice. So for now, until Betty came it was me and her man...
Archie Andrews P.O.V:
I looked at her smiling widely. I had finally come up with a strategy to tell her how much I loved her and how much I wanted her to be around me 100% of the time, and no I didn't want marriage I just wanted her to be mine.
"Archie" she sighed, looking at me with her deep blue eyes, they where shinning. Practically glowing with happiness at the sight in front of her.
I had taken the time to finally ask the girl of my dreams out, it might have taken me longer than what it should've been but I finally grasped the idea and started moving forward.
*phone buzzes*
Who would be texting me right now? when I was about finalize the most exciting PG Rated thing since Ms. Grundy?
*phone rings*
I grab my phone quickly as Betty walks around the room taking in what I had created just for her to see.

It was only Veronica and Reggie and it didn't seem like it was important and or urgent for me to get back to them. So I threw my phone into my bag after shutting it off and turned back around going over the speech that I had rehearsed so many times before setting this whole place up.
