"You can see my scars have faded, but you haven't seen the inside yet..."

----

I'm getting ready for the party, and wonder what happened earlier. I overhear my phone ding, while I'm listening to music. I don't pay much attention to it, considering It's probably just my dad telling me things about Jen. I'm about to go, but I go ahead and check my phone.

I'm confused when I see who texted me. Sexy. That's all the contact said. That bitch! I curse myself out for not realizing earlier that he put his number in my phone. I'm going to get him back sooner or later.

"My brother told me about a little party. I thought you could use someone to have fun with ;)"

"I'm not that shallow. I would never do anything, especially with YOU!"

"Oh come on babydoll, don't act that way."

"Bye, Lark."

"See you soon, darling."

I sigh, and get in the car. Why does this have to end up this way. Why couldn't my sister just leave me alone? Why couldn't my parents be actual parents? Why did I have to meet someone like Jack? Finn didn't seem like the worst person to be around, so I'm assuming I'll talk to him majority throughout the party.

I don't even realize it, but I finally make it to the trampoline park. I walk in there, and I check in to make sure everything is set up the way it's supposed to be.

"Need any help there!" I hear a cheery male voice.

"Hey, Grant. Yeah, that would be pretty nice if you could just keep me company while I'm setting everything up." I say, and sigh.

"You aight?"He asks me.

"Yeah, I could be better." I tell him.

"What's wrong?" He walks over to me, and pulls me into his arms.

"It's just my sister." I say to him, muffled to him in his shirt.

"If you're okay with it, what about your sister?" He asks me looking directly in my eyes.

"Uh-" I'm cut off as the announcer talks through the speakers.

"YOU NEED TO START SETTING THINGS UP IF YOU WANT THEM DONE, SO STOP LOVING ON EACH OTHER!" the old man shouts through the speakers.

We both break apart, but I end up on the floor in a heap of a mess laughing. His green eyes crinkle as he looks up.

He looks at me, with a beautiful sparkle in his eye, "Maybe we should actually get something done." He tells me in a loving manner.

"Alright." And we set off to go quickly set up everything for the party.

I'm setting things for the party, and people start rolling in so people start dancing after a minute or two.

After people start rolling in, the party comes alive. People are dancing, singing, making out. GAG. I've never been that way. I've never been one of the horny teenagers, who make out at any party and have sex.

Again, I'm not as shallow as you'd think.

Ugh, this is boring. I walk outside the place, and go to my car to get my sketchbook. I use my sketchbook as a calming kind of thing. It's something that I'm decently good at, and it blocks out everything. It's like there could be people screaming at me, and I don't notice it as long as I have my sketchbook.

I walk to the back of my car, and open the trunk. YES. I take out my sketchbook, pencil, and eraser.

I walk back into the place, and sit in the far back, and start to sketch a male figure who's standing there on his phone. I first sketch everything out really quickly with my graphite pencil and fix the lines up a bit. I get the body proportions correct, then I go to the face. I don't really care who I'm drawing, so I continue. His eyes are very soft, and his jawline is sharp. His hair swoops over his head beautifully.
He's wearing a grey beanie, which makes him have the 'I woke up like this' look.

His outfit consists of a grey T-shirt and a black leather jacket over it.

He's wearing dark blue ripped jeans, and black and white Adidas shoes.

Overall he looks fairly sexy.

I draw him pretty realistic. In my middle school years, I went to a school of the arts and picked up a few things. This is going to sell for quite a bit.

But then the guy looks up from his phone and realizes I was looking at him. I was drawing him as well. To make matters worse, I recognized that instant who I was drawing.

Fucking Lark.

And he's gonna walk over here and realize I was drawing him like a stalker.

"Hey, darling." He smirks at me, as I cover the drawing with my arms.

"Heyy, Lark." I say to him, trying to act calm.

"What's that?" He points to the drawing, currently being covered by my arms.

"Oh, nothing. Just a quick sketch or something I drew that you don't need to see." I tell him, but his smirk grows deeper. Before I can react to anything, he snatched the drawing. His face is in awe as he looks at the drawing.

"Damn." He whispers looking at the drawing. I can't tell if he likes it or not. Why am I caring about what he thinks about it. I've never really cared if anyone comments on any of my artwork because most don't realize my time and effort into my drawings anyway.

"You like me that much, huh?" He says to me.

"What-What-No!" I stuttered, flailing to get my sketchbook out of his grasp.

He grinned, "You're blushing." He teased.

"Shut up- Give me my-" You were about to say until someone interjected.

"Give it back," Grant snapped, causing the both of you to turn around.

Lark chuckled, "Hey turtle, how's it going?"

"For the last time- I am not a turtle!" Grant whined.

"You were the first to come out which means your older. Older means old and old means slow and wrinkly. Old and wrinkly also means turtle. It's not rocket-science, retard," Lark explained.

I stare at the both of them as they bicker and take the chance to mess with them. I take the sketchbook from Lark's hand walk away.

"Hey! Where are you going?" One of them shouted behind me. Probably Grant but I'm not too sure.  "I'm leaving!" I groaned. "But- But you're the only reason I came to this party..." I heard one mumble behind and started on their way towards me. I came out the door and behind me I heard someone standing there.

Once I exited the door, was only when I finally turned around.

I glimpsed a grey beanie entering back in the building...

Only one person followed me.

Only one person had a grey beanie.
