Lack of Update

There are many reasons as to why I haven't been updating.

Well, that's because of school, obviously.

I'll try and get the character designs finish, so I can get their profiles up and ready. I already published one, 2 finished drafts, and one WIP. That is the total of four characters. I still have 12 more to go. And that is including two of the characters other siblings.

One of the characters has a sibling, but they are not among the living anymore so I can't give them a design because you'll never see them.

The character art for the characters are taking place during the half-way point towards the ending of the entire series. So, when I gave Yuka his age, that's his age during that time period. I may or may not make an epilogue book that takes place during their high school years, but it'll take me more time because I have to change their appearances and give them new habits, likes, personality traits, etc.

I already have Heika's high school design already, but I did that for fun.

I can use MS Paint to do the designs, but it'll take way more time because of shading and the art will just look way to pixel. I prefer smooth art if I'm being serious. So, instead of doing some art that I've been doing just to relieve stress, I'm going to focus on the character art.

I actually started on Rato's art, but my video game design teacher got all of us new computers, so ALL of my work is gone. Which means I have to start all over. Luckily, it was just Rato's and I didn't get that much done to begin with.

But I can't start tomorrow due to the 9th and 10th graders taking our state test. So I'm going have to start on Friday.

Hopefully, I'll be able to finish all of them before May 17th or May 18th because that's when we have to turn in our laptops, so this time, I'm going to put all of my work in my flash drive, just in case if I don't finish in time.

Luckily for me, I'm taking Animation 2 and Video Game Design 2 next year, so I'll still have access to Photoshop once the school years starts up again. Let's just hope that I pass this school year, cause I'm about to fail multiple classes in this 6 weeks. I have one last 6 weeks to go through, and hope that it'll bring my 2nd semester grade up that way I won't fail for the year.

That's all I have to say as to why I haven't been updating.

I'll try and work on the character drafts and the character art whenever I can, but I always can't.
