Lucas.
My parents big Surprise was my mother has gotten me a new phone.
I text Lilly.
Me: come over please.
Lilly: yeah.
15 minutes later.
My mother opens the door, "honey, Lilly is here. She can be up here just keep your door open." My mother said with such hope that I wouldn't say anything snarky.
"Well, nothing will happen since I'm gay!" I yelled.
"Oh, Lucas stop saying that." My mother said with so much discouragement.
"Hi." Lilly said with a genuine smile.
"We need to talk." I said.
"Okay?" Lilly said.
I pat the edge of my bed for Lilly to sit down and she does so.
"I know your my fake girlfriend." I said with such sadness an anger towards the fact that my parents were so vulgar and decided to give me a fake girl friend.
"I feel so terrible about that. My family just needed the money badly. I thought your parents were insane for thinking that it was okay to trick you into believing you were straight. How hard is it to accept your own child. Like I said I feel terrible and we really needed the money." Lilly's eye begins to shed a tear. She feels bad. I feed bad for her. She can't help that she was born into not as financially stable for famous family. Poverty is no one's fault except the people with so much to offer but, don't care enough and just let it happen.
"It's okay. if I were in your position I would have done the same. Can we be friends and just pretend to be all coupley and stuff Infront of my parents?" I asked with a genuine smile that maybe she'd except the offer because after leading what I had learned I needed a friend.
"Deal." Lilly says with a brightening smile.
"Are you up for a little adventure with me?" I asked, giving her a small supple smirk.
"Uhh duhh. Lay it on me." Lilly said in a tone that was a little sassy but, I don't judge.
"So, I was wondering what if Farkle, Riley, and Maya are real?" I asked. I probably sound crazy to here because it was all a dream but, to me it was far more than a dream it was a reality to real to break away from me and tell me it was fake.
"Continue, I'm confused on your point." Lilly said with flat toned voice.
"Well, I remember hearing about the huge Minkus industries that happens to be Farkle's last name. His father was Mr.Minkus. maybe he has a son and maybe that son if Farkle. Maybe they weren't all a dream. So I want you to help me find them?" I asked.
"I've heard of the minkus incorporations. Yes. I'll help you." Lilly said with a small smile.
"So do you have any way of getting DNA samples of them or maybe-" I was cut off by my mother who walked into my bedroom holding my folded laundry that consisted of pretty much only blue.
"Oh, dear DNA was made up by the scientist, so they could explain why light is a matter of liquids. You see DNA may have a scientific meaning but, in reality the scientist use it when the DONT NO ANYTHING. it's an acronym. DNA stand for DON'T NO ANYTHING." my idiotic mother says with far to much confidence that she can't see her stupidity is shinning threw.
I glance over at Lilly who is trying so hard not to laugh.
"Yeah umm, mom where did you graduate high school?" I asked.
