As a resident of Brampton, Ontario, Taha Shafique takes advantage of nearby Lake Ontario and the pastimes it offers. Growing up in the region, he has become quite adept at navigating the shoreline of the great lake in his canoe, so he decided to put his skills to the test. He recently took place in a local race, competing against nearly 50 fellow athletes. It was a close call, but he came out on top with a lead of 1 minute, 37 seconds!
