The Teacher Pack

Chapter 1: How We Get Around

What may lurk in the shadows of the hall at Design Lab High School but of a pack, a pack more frighting than a pack of wolves. This pack was cannibalistic, evil, mischevious, nutty, and all around complicated, they were the teacher pack.

Design Lab had a ranking system for students and teachers, the top of the list being the Elders which where the wise, not too terribly old teachers, Mrs. Marvel, Ms. Bystrickey, and Ms. McWilliams. They reign over everyone who attends the school including the principal and other teachers, if there was a fuss made.......well, I can't really tell you because only the people who have made a fuss know because they were never heard from again. Now there was the rest of the teachers and each one has a specific role, for example the gym teacher, Mr. Talmo, he was the messenger for the teachers, he would send information about someone or something to the head of the Teacher Pack and sometimes the Elders, he had this role because he would be able to run the fastest in case of urgent news, this role gave his immunity from being sacrificed. Mr. Pytel was the mathematician of the teachers so he would calculate the portions everyone got from a student when they ate them (oh yeah, forgot to mention, they eat students. They find students they don't like and give them really difficult tests and if they fail that student gets eaten). Now the head of the pack was the science teacher, Mr. Stubbolo. He reigned with an iron fist, if anyone in the pack acted out he would take sever courses of action, he invented what is now called "The Sacrifice". The Sacrifice is where the entire pack would be in an area and the messenger, Mr. Talmo, would notify the janitors to come to where they are. Once at the ready, the head will leave with the rest of the pack following except for the sacrifice who will be blocked in with no escape by the custodians. After about two minutes you hear a creaking of the floor above you, then loud footsteps and each one is followed by a heel hitting the hard, unforgivable metal of the metallic stairs, and finally you see shadow figures outside the door of the room in which the sacrifice is hopefully praying for forgiveness or at least their life. After that, there are only rumors. One rumor is that the teacher gets turned into a student and gets eaten by the teachers, another is that they get turned into lunch meat. Now Mr. Stubbolo was a humble, fair, and could be a merciful pack leader though he could have some fun once in awhile.

"What do you have for me today, Tally?" Mr. Stubbolo would ask to the messenger, Mr. Talmo.

"It's Tal...l..l..l" Talmo is so frightened he stutters his words, "It's.. it..it's"

"Just spit it out already!" Interjects Stubbolo.

"The student, A-a-aa-a" he stutters looking down at his hand with writting on it. "Ashley Z-something, she got into another fight today."

Stubbolo sighs. This wasn't the first student to cause trouble and this wasn't her first offense. Ashley had been a thorn in their side for awhile now. Why they haven't sacrificed her yet is unknown.

"Well then, we'll have to hand out some tests then." Stubbolo grew a wicked smirk that would scare the Grinch. "Though we have to run it by The Elders first."

Daily Life for the teacher pack was pretty simple. There sitting in each of their classrooms they stayed until noon when it was time to claim their next victim, but today was the day of the meeting. The meeting mostly held of the leader of the teacher pack, the messenger, and one of the Elders. Today it was grey haired, Mr. Stubbolo (the teachers usually just call him Stubbs), Talmo, and Bystrickey meeting in the cafeteria. Now these meetings aren't usually planned, they only occur when a teacher is acting against the needs of the pack, this time they were talking about the teacher, Ms. Sudia. 

"What has she done now?" Bystrickey sighs.

"What hasn't she done!" The grey haired teacher exclaims. "She's been caught giving the sacrifices some of the answers on the test we give and fighting in the halls."
