The secret

Gun shot.

5 men all dressed in black bursted through the door and shouted "TURN THE MUSIC OF AND WE WONT SHOOT". They said as they pulled out guns. The music turns off.

"EVERYONE SILENCE NOW!" The room goes dead silence. "ALL OF YOU STAND AGAINST THE WALL"

"Hmm, who wants to die today?"

"You! Blondie. Come here" One of them say as they point at Jake. Jake steps forward.

"Oh look who it is. Jake Paul" One of the men said.

So many thoughts were going through my head.
Omg am I going to die?
Are they going to kill Jake?
I can't let this happen!

Suddenly, life felt like it was going in slow motion. They were going to shoot Jake. I ran in front of Jake and pushed him out the way. The bullets hit me. Everything went black. All I could hear is screaming. The police bursted through the door.

Jakes P.O.V

This is it. I'm going to die.
I closed my eyes and felt a push. I opened my eyes to see Ashley laying on the floor. Everyone screamed. The police barged through the door.

"Ashley, wake up" Ava screams

The ambulance takes her away.

"Ava, call Ashley's parents" I say crying my eyes out.

"I can't tell them what happened. It hurts too much. You call them"

I call her mum first.
"Hello, is this Ashley's mum?"

"Yes, where's Ashley. Who's this?"

"You need to come to the hospital straight away. Ashley has been shot"

"Oh my god. What?! It'll take me 3 hours to get there."

"I can't call anyone else because your the only emergency contact on her phone is you. I'm sorry Mrs Madison"

The call ends.

"Ava?"

"Yeah?" She said wiping a tear.

"Should I tell Logan?"

"What no!"

"I'll at least tell him but I won't tell him what hospital"

"Ok fine"

I FaceTime Logan

"Logan"

"Sup bro, why you calling me so late? Why is there police behind you and why are you crying?"

"Ashley has been shot"

"What?! Where is she?"

"In hospital"

I end the call and not telling him any other information.

Logan's P.O.V

What? Ava's been shot! Why did Jake end the call so quickly? I have to find out what hospital she's in

Ashley's P.O.V

I woke up. I can't open my eyes. I can't move. What's happening. I screamed but no noise came out. I can hear someone's conversation.

"She's alive, but she's in a coma"

"What? No. This can't be happening"

"I'm sorry Mrs. Madison"

Mum is that you? I scream but still no noice comes out.

"Jake, please clarify what happened"

"The men, bursted down the door. They pointed at me and told me to come forward, so I did. The man knew who I was. He pointed the gun at me, I thought this was it, I'm going to die. I closed my eyes and felt a push. It was Ashley. She took 4 bullets for me."

"Thank you Jake. Mrs Madison, please come out here and we will talk more"

I hear people leave the room.

"Ashley, this is all my fault"

It was Jake speaking.

"I'm sorry. There's something I've always wanted to say to you. I love you. I'm sorry that I can't say it to you when your awake. From the day I met you at Starbucks till now. I've always loved you"

I love you too Jake. But I know he'll never hear me.
