Waking up.

20 minutes later I heard someone come in the room.

"Jake, why didn't you answer any off my calls?! Or tell me what hospital she was in" Said a familiar voice. I think it was Logan.

"Someone said that it was better of if you weren't here"

"What who?"

"Don't worry, how did you know I was here?"

"I tracked you phone"

3 weeks later

I hear 4 people enter the room.

"Jake, Logan, Ava. I'm going to the toilet. Watch her please" Said my mum

"Yes of course" said Jake

"So umm Ava. How have you been?" Asked Logan.

"Fine" Ava said

"Long time no see"

"Oh I wonder why"

"Why, what happened? I thought you two broke up because it 'wasn't working out' ?!" Said Jake

"Ava said it wasn't working out but I don't know why or what made her change her mind"

"Logan. Do you really need me to explain? I'm sure you remember . I almost reported you to the police."

"What no! I don't remember"

"Remember we were at a party. I saw you hooking up with some other girl. I confronted you about it and you hit me and I fell. I didn't do anything about it. You took me back to your house and said if I told anyone you would hit me again"

"What?!"

"Logan you hit her?!"

"I don't remember that"

"Of course you don't" Said Ava as she ran out of the room. I wish I could go and hug her but I couldn't.

"Ava. I'm sorry" He shouted.

'Come on.' I was saying to myself. 'I can get up' I need to go help my bestfriend.' It didn't work.

"Everything will be ok Ashley, I know you can't hear me but trust me" Said Jake.

Another 5 days past. Jake and Logan and Ava were visiting. 30 minutes into the visit, I started to feel movement in my body. All of a sudden I woke up. I sat up and everyone jumped out of there seats.

"Omg Ashley are you ok?"

"Ashley I'm so glad your alive"

"Logan go get the nurse"

Logan runs out the room. I didn't know what to do so I just cried. The nurse runs in and checks that I'm ok.

"What happened?" I asked

"You were shot. 4 times. Luckily the bullets missed all your vital organs. 4 of the 5 men were shot dead. One escaped."

"What?! Where's my mum?" My mum bursts into the room.

"Ashley" Shouted my mum. I hugged her and I never wanted to let go.

"Ashley you're going to have to stay here for 9 days at least to make sure you're ok to go home." Said the nurse.

"Ok"

3 hours have past since I woke up

"Ashley I have to go pick up your brother from the airport. I haven't told him what happened"

"What mum?! You didn't tell him! He's going to be pissed"

"Yes I know. I'll be back in 2 hours. I love you. Bye"

"Bye mum. I love you"

Mum leaves. "Jake umm listen, my brother... does not like you at ALL. And he said if I was ever near you, he would reveal my biggest secret to all my fans. So please no one tell him what I did and Jake please hide until he leaves"

"Ok sure"

"I'll go tell the nurse so she doesn't accidentally tell Jacob" Said Logan

"Thank you" I said holding Jakes hand. He blushes. I let go and check my phone. I saw a trending hashtag #wheresashley

"Do people know what happened?" I asked panicking

"No not yet" Said Logan

"Everyone agreed that you'd be the first to tell everyone. But you haven't tweeted so no one knows where you are or what happened." Says Jake

"Oh ok. Good"

I call my mum.

"Umm hey mum. Before you tell Jacob what happened. Don't tell him that Jake was there. Just say that I got shot"
