Adams eyes atop leaking salty teats as he looks down at Y/n, feeling as though he's feelin emotions for the first time in a long time.

"But why?"

She looks up at him. Her cheeks are stained with tears. "Because I care for you. I need you. I want to stay with you.", he unwraps her arms from around him and gently holds her hands. "But, you'll be hurt.", he says softly. "I don't care. I want to stay with you."

"Do you love me?"

She smile softly. "At one point, I would've said yes. But love is a hard thing to earn. Its hard to grasp onto. My heart beats strongly for you in ways I've never felt."

He gently takes her chin in his hand and brings his face closer.

So close. "Say you do.", he whispers.

"For you, I will...."

"I love you....", their lips connect and a single tear rolls down her face and she smiles into the kiss, her body jerking away, blood spewing from her back as a slowing, beating hear is held in the air by a bloody hand that gently holds it. Y/n pulls away and softly cradles Adam's face, smiling softly. "I will always care for you...."

He pulls his arm out of her chest, bringing the heart close. His eyes are shaded by his bangs but tears drip from his chin.
