"Mama!!" Kaitlin squealed, making grabby hands as if she wanted Perrie to hold her, but Jade wasn't having it.
"Kat, love, Mummy needs to speak to Mama, so can I- we tuck you up in bed?" Jade asks, Kaitlin hesitates before agreeing. So the two adults tuck the small girl into bed, then headed through the living room.
"What the heck do you think you're doing here?!" Jade hissed quietly.
"You left me for 5 years to raise our daughter, then you come crawling back like everything will be ok?!"
"Jade, please, let me explain-"
"No Perrie! You weren't here when Kaitlin needed you the most! You weren't here for either of us!." Jade seethed, she could see the tears forming in Perrie's crystal blue eyes, the eyes Jade used to and did get lost in forever.
"Just leave! Go!" Jade screams, sobbing into her hands and flopping onto the leather sofa. Perrie wants to sit beside her, comfort her and tell her it's okay. But she knows Jade will just push her away. So Perrie does as Jade says, and leaves.
