Flashback warning.... Don't worry, Its just hollie getting upset, nothing graphic but i thought I would warn you

Jeff

Matt and I walked on either side of Hollie. We were taking turns explaining the city. We didn't have far to go since the best place to get breakfast was at the end of our block.

"Table for three please" the hostess grabbed three menus and led us to a table. Eddie curled up against Hollie’s feet as soon as we sat down.

“Wow he really doesn't want you to go anywhere without him”

“Yea. Eddie was traumatized by the funeral and everything that happened. He's basically my big baby now that I have to take everywhere.”

“Understandable. How long have you had him? “

“He was Jake’s dog first. He found him in the strangest way. He was on a business trip in Florida and a hurricane happened. The hotel he was staying at had paired up guests with employees since being in a thirty story building during a hurricane wasn't ideal. Anyway, he ended up with one of the cooks and the food they had frozen was going to go bad.  So the two men sat grilling in the driveway and were cooking the food exchanging stories. Well, a cute little puppy came wandering up looking for a handout and next thing they know, Eddie won't leave Jake's side. So Jake fell in love and boarded the plane back home with a dog. That was 5 years ago and I came into the picture about a year later.”

“Wow. That's a crazy story.”

“Yea most people pick their dogs but Eddie chose Jake.”

“Was he named Eddie before or did Jake pick the name?”

“The hurricane was hurricane Edward so Eddie came from that.”

We ordered our food and I continued talking to Hollie while Matt tried to cover some tour stuff. A venue had complained about not selling enough tickets last time for the guys to play there again. But the problem was there was a snowstorm and people couldn't make it to the show.

“So Jeff you do lights right?”

“Yea that's my job to set up the light show basically.”

“Interesting. Is it fun?”

“At times it's stressful but it makes it totally worth it when I see the end product during the set.”

“That makes sense”

“You never told us what you do”

“I’m a nutritionist.  I help plan people’s daily diets when they hire me.  I can work from home and can live anywhere so its nice.  I just have to skype clients when they have questions”

“So you judge what people eat and grade them before helping make their diet better?”

“Exactly”

“I’m afraid you can’t be our friend anymore” I said smiling.

“You guys can’t eat that bad”

“The only person who eats the way we should is Zack.  The rest of us eat like teenagers” Matt decided to join the conversation at this point.

“Sorry guys having problems with the venue in Dallas.  What I miss?”

“Nothing much just the fact that we live next door to a nutritionist”

“Oh really? Well then I guess I’m moving” He said cracking a smile.
