Mae POV : Looking at the empty room that was once my bedroom I sigh thinking of all the happy memories that was held here ,even though my family was perfectly happy living in Arizona we still have to move because of my dads business.Walking down the spiral staircase towards the front door my mother calls me " Mae hurry up we are going to miss the plane." I hurry up knowing better not to test my mothers patience, she never was the type to be caring , strict and cruel was two ways of describing my mother I was the reason she was not happy ,I forced this life upon her a stay at home mother with a mute daughter what a great life . I was about to get in the car when I heard some one scream my name I knew it was my best friend she was the only one I could turn to as she knew sigh language ,my mother never bothered to interact with me , I'm not surprised that she was managed to clash into me which both sent us flying backwards into the floor , yep this was my best friend a purple haired fun loving girl who acts like a child but I love her anyway ." Don't go , I can't do this in my own" she sobbed into my jacket my heart broke as we both hugged each other before my mothers screams for me to hurry up interrupted us we both pulled away tears staining our cheeks when I signed to her " this isn't a good bye this is a see ya later , I will Skype every night I promise ". She nodded knowing if she would open her mouth the sobs would rack through her body again . I hugged her one last time as I got in the car tears pouring down my to face starring out the window at Alex crying while we slowly drove away " toughen up young lady you better not make a show of us in Ohio " my mother cold and harsh words drawn me out of my trance I just nodded putting in my headphone hopping the music would take this pain away .
