Chapter One
The Early Morning Awakening
      Hello, My name is Julie Hunt. I am going to be 32 years old on April 15. You are about to read about the incredible journey that my mom, grandma, friend named Paul, and my two sisters named Kyrie and Samantha are on. It all started at 2:30 in the morning. My grandma and I woke up and got dressed.
       At 3:15 we left our house and drove to get Samantha. A few minutes later we reached Kristy's house. We had just sat down, when the airport shuttle arrived at Kristy's house. We reached Sky Harbor Airport at 4:30 and the plane took off at 5:00. We landed at Houston Hobby Airport at 8:30 ish.
       Right after we arrived there, there was a tornado watch. Because of that, we couldn't continue on to Louisiana. Right now I am sitting at the airport on standby. We finally left Houston Hobby Airport at 3:00 this afternoon. We landed in New Orleans, Louisiana around 6:15.
     We got to our hotel and unpacked. After that we went out to dinner. We found a Mexican restaurant. I had a bean and cheese burrito with rice and beans. We just got back to the hotel. I will continue to keep you posted.
Day Two
New Orleans Fun
    This afternoon We went to I. H. O. P for a late breakfast and early lunch. Kyrie and I both had pancakes. After breakfast we were walking back to our motel and saw a statue of Louie Armstrong. Right now I am watching television. Say hello Kyrie. More tomorrow.
Day Three
Friday March 30th
Today I went for a walk with Kristy and Kyrie. We went into downtown Louisiana. We got Subway for lunch, then went on a ghost hunt/ walk. We saw how Louisiana came to be. I even learned about the Louisiana Purchase.
Saturday April 1
Today I went on another tour of Louisiana. We walked to two very old cemeteries. Most of the graves I saw dated back to World War One. I even saw the tomb where John Lennon is going to be burried. While I was taking a picture I tripped over another headstone.
Sunday April 2, 2017
This morning right after breakfast we went back to our rooms to pack our suitcases. After that we got on a a bus that took us to the Norwegian Dawn. After we got on the ship we had lunch. An hour later We had to go to our muster station for the lifeboat drill. After that, I went out next to the pool for the Sail Away party. Before we could sail away, there was a medical emergency on board delaying the sail away until 6:30. Tomorrow We are at Sea all day.
Monday April 3
Today We were at Sea all day. I played in the hot tub. I even heard some very good singers who were from the Philippines.
Tuesday April 4
Today we were in Cozumel, Mexico. We saw the Mayan Ruins. It was a lot of fun, but very humid. I even saw two beautiful parrots.
Wednesday April 5
Today we are in Roatan. We toured a small chocolate factory. I have seen two Security Dogs so far. One was a very small dog. The other one was quite big.
Thursday April 6
Today we are in Harvest Caye. I went for a swim at this beach resort while Kristy, Paul, and Sarah went snorkeling. I got to spend time with one of Kristy's Friends named Sherry.
Friday April 7
Today we are at a very different set of ruins. This one people can climb up in. It is another scorcher.
Saturday April 8
Today we are at Sea again. This morning I woke up and went to hear Captain Martin talk. All in all, the cruise has been very exciting. Tomorrow We are going to be back in Louisiana.
Sunday April 9
Today we arrived in Louisiana and had a very large lunch of pizza. We watched a movie on Disney Channel that was similar to Freaky Friday, but a boy and a girl traded bodies.
Monday April 10
We are getting ready to land back at Sky Harbor Airport. I hope you have enjoyed reading about Kyrie and my special cruise.
