3. New Friends

I quickly pull up my small map and looked at my classes on my schedule, it's just a left turn and a straight shot from there. I took a deep breath and hurried through the thick crowds trying to fast walk, only to be tripped by someone. 

"Oh my god I'm so sorry, are you ok," A soft feminine voice asked while helping me up off of the ground.  I only nodded and looked up to see this girl who has the brightest green eyes I have ever seen. Her long orange hair looked as if her hair was brushed with the beautiful stick. 

"Oh sorry, did she create a scene again," A worried yet tired males voice said with a scared chuckle. 

"Oh ya I totally like tripping people that I don't know and pretend it was an accident" She hissed at him before lightly punching him in the arm. 

"Speaking of new, are you new... like I haven't recognized you and yet I know everyone at this dear old school" Her orange hair shimmered as the sun sliced through the old glass. Knowing that if I say something right now, I will mess up by being too weird so I did what I knew best and nodded. "Ohh this is exciting, well I'm Skylynn and this is my boyfriend, Zack" She nearly yelled, but the guy next to her just smiled and said hello.

"I'm Just...Justin" I stuttered. 

"Well hello, Justin welcome to Enterprise high school," The girl smiled opening her arms.  

"Oh, so what're your classes" She grabbed my backpack and my schedule before I could get it myself. 

"Ohh you have Mrs. Staci next period, here just follow me and Zack and you'll get there on time, oh crap we need to go now we have two minutes left". She grabbed both Zack and I and dragged us to the classroom, right before we walked in Zack kissed Skylynn goodbye right before running off to his next class. And as soon as I thought this day couldn't get worse, I walked in and I saw the tank top guy sitting down near the front desk. Things just got really embarrassing as the events from this morning are still fresh in my mind and right now I'm praying that he doesn't remember my face as the one who spilled coffee all over him. 

"Hey Justin come to sit by me, have," she said pulling me down next to her in a seat. 

"Good Morning class, today have received a new student.." The woman began to say before I drowned her out by my thoughts. Oh no god please help me, ugh I don't want to say anything, could I just be mute like I wouldn't mind ok that's a lie but still.... and before I knew it Skylynn pushed me up out of my seat and the whole class was staring at me. 

"Hello, Justin I'm Mrs. Staci your new math teacher, would you like to tell us where you're coming from" the words wanted to leave my thoughts but I couldn't say them so I just shook my head. I sat back down and class began. She was talking about something but Skylynn broke my attention by asking me how my freshmen year was. 

"Wait, I'm a freshman, are you not", I asked and her eyes widen like she has seen a ghost. 

"No this is Algebra two and we are sophomores", she said smiling at the fact that she was a sophomore. 

"I think I got put in the wrong class then after class ima go talk to the teacher", I said quietly sinking in my desk.  

"Relax I'm sure there is a reason why you're here," Skylynn said smiling and facing the board. I sit there at my desk and it only seemed like five minutes till I began to daydream, but the loud alarm shook me out of my mind and I quickly got up and walked over to the teacher. 

"Hey, Justin I hope you have found everything good so far in school but you seem like you have a question" She sat in her chair and looked at me. 

"Well ya, see... I'm a freshman but my friend Skylynn said that this is an Algebra two and last time I was in a math class it was in Algebra one. 

"Oh, your counselor hasn't talked to you yet about that, well from what I was informed that you already passed algebra one, I think you eighth grade math teacher had you take a test before you moved so you could bump up into algebra two, you passed so now your a grade higher" Mrs. Staci said before she went back to typing on her computer. I thanked her and walked out of class to see that Skylynn already left. I headed towards my third period which is art, thank god. I get into class and sit down only to hear the art teacher present a new project to the class. I sit down and she explained everything they have learned, not much from last year so I began to draw since I'm excused from the project for this time. My mind goes into a blur and time fly out the window. I'm soon in fourth, and fifth then finally it was lunchtime. My stomach was growling so much I could not believe that no one heard it during fifth. I sped walked into the hallways and straight into the enormous cafeteria and stand in line for some pasta, luckily I saw Zack and Skylynn in the other lunch line getting some cheeseburgers. I get my food and walk out of line only to feel a hand grasping the back of my neck while fear automatically struck me and I froze up like a kid was caught eating candy. 

"hey look at the new kid" A male with a deep voice yelled at his friends.

"wow he's really small, hey do you think he's fragile cuz if so then he is going to have a lot of broken bones" A guy damn near whispered in my ear. 

"Hey, will you leave the kid alone, he just got here" I heard a guy yell.

"Ya, why don't you pick on someone your own size" this time a girl yelled. 

"Ya we will leave him alone" The guy who had a hand in the back of my neck let go but I knew it was too good to be true for them to just leave because the minute he let go a hand quickly socked me in the stomach making me fall to the ground kneeling. My food was all over the ground but before I could get my foot off the ground a strong pair of hands were held out in front of my face waiting for me to grab hold to be lifted up but at the first sight of them, I flinched of course but I grab the pair of hands and saw the tank top guy again, great just my luck. 

"You ok," he said kinda surprised me though, I'm shocked that he's not mad over the coffee spill this morning. 

"Oh my god, Justin are you ok" Skylynn yelled rushing over to me with Zack. 

"Hey, Skylynn and ya he's fine but probably hurt, listen I got to go but ill catch you guys later. Before he left I nearly got the words thank you out. He leaves the cafeteria and soon Zack and Skylynn went to go sit down while I go and find my next class so I can go and try to hide my growling stomach, I still haven't gotten to ask Skylynn about her knowing that guy but I will soon, hopefully.
