Your story can be any genre accept fanfiction. We do not allow fanfiction because it simply doesn't work for the contest.

When you enter, be sure your story meets all of the requirements.

Reminder; the story MUST be posted on your profile here on Wattpad. This is a Wattpad contest.

How it works:

Every entry posted here will be read and discussed between my friend and I. Then, we will create the next 'round' in the contest. There are only three rounds.

The First Round is this one, the Entry Round. This is where we read your story (not necessarily all of it) and decide, based on how interesting it is, if it moves on to the second round, which is the Judging/Qualification Round. This is where we read the stories a second time (or in some cases, continue them), looking for plotholes, grammatical errors, overused scenarios, blah blah blah (and if your story is cliché that doesn't mean much. We like some clichés).

The Final Round is the Awards Round, where we will give out awards based on (for example), Most Original Story, Best Romance, Best Main Character, Best Antagonist, and we'll be sure to throw in poetry awards if we get poetry entries.

This WILL take awhile, since we have to read every entry. Until then, good luck!

Note: If you update during the contest and judging periods, it will not affect you.
