You always wore a smile and laughed so loud no one noticed the sound of cracking and breaking. People believed in your strength. They never saw you as dull or boring because they were blinded by your so-called radiance, the false light you emit. Worry not, I understand you. You are a pleaser, a pretender, a poorly-reconstructed being; you are a beautiful mosaic.
Meanwhile, I frowned and seemed to think the world is some hellhole. Some see me as this dark-minded person who has never seen the sun. Days pass by and I would get stares of disgust and contempt. But that didn't matter since you understand who I really am. I am your polar opposite; I too am a beautiful mosaic.
I won't apologize for being the black to your white, the flame to your snow, the hate to your love. You accept who I am because who else would accept this ugliness other than myself. To the me who is the coin that has two faces, I love you.
