Niranjan's POV

 
"Nike listen to me patiently don't get angry.
I know that this is incorrect but I am helpless.
We were helpless. We had to bend our knees due to the circumstances.", said Latha.

"Mom!! What is it tell me. I promise, I won't get angry. " ,said niranjan assuring.

"Dear! Years back when you were 5....." , said latha in a choked voice.
"Mom!", said niranjan placing his hand over his mother's shoulder. Silently supporting his mom to continue.

"Your grandfather's health was very bad back then. His only and last wish was to see you get married. ( I looked at my mother as if she got two heads )
Your father and I protested and tried convince that it was illegal. But whom are we arguing with your grandfather was too stubborn.

Your father's best friend Karan was also was in a similar situation so we decided to marry you and Asha.

We were left no choice but to obey your grandfather's orders

I am really sorry to hide such a big truth from you" , told latja with tears.

"It's OK mom I understand but why are you telling me all this now?", asked niranjan confusedly.

"Because your going to get engaged within few hours with Asha", said lathe calmly.

"WHATTTT !¡!!????!", shouted niranjan.

"Yes!! It is mentioned in grandfather's will that the marriage has to be publicised before or at the age of 28 or you won't have the rights on our family property", informed latha.

" WHAT!!", was all niranjan could say.

"By the way your sister and friends knows about all these", said latha.

My mind was BLANK. All I could think was I nerd to act fast. I just get engaged to an unknown girl.
Of all why is it happening to me.

Asha's POV

Once my father got all attention. He cleared his throat.

"Asha you are married.", told karan bluntly.

I looked at my father as if he got two horns on his head.

"Yes!! Don't give me that look.
You were married at the age of four to my best friend's son niranjan.
It all happened due to circumstances.", told karan.

"What circumstances dad!!", demanded anil.

"At that time you ( anil ) were in boarding school. Your grandma's health was very weak. Her only wish was to see ash's marriage and die.
Similar condition was there in my friend's house so we decided to get them married!!", said karan.

WHAT !!! Have they got there screws loose.
But I guess there is more.

"OK dad!! But why are you suddenly telling us from no where in the blue?", questioned asha.

"Because you are getting engaged within few hours to Niranjan.", said karan sternly.

By the time the words sink my head my eyes went wide.

I just ran to my room because I know there is no use in arguing with my father. I don't want cry in front my father as he already thinks I am sensitive and this just prove it.
Only I could think is of all why it as to be MEeeee.
