Berwald's POV
It has been a few months since me and Tino found Hanatomago. I came and visited everyday. Tino has become really close with Hanatomago and vice versa. I started to grow a strong crush on Tino for a long time. I wanted to tell him that I love him but I'm to scared to tell him and be rejected. I walked to Tino's house for the day to see him and Hana out side as he worked on his garden.
"Hey Tino." I said as I approached him.
"Oh, hi Berwald." Tino said as he got up and wiped himself off.
"What are you growing?" I asked with curiosity.
"Oh... just some Christmas roses... (aka white roses.)"
"Oh I see." Hana came and jumped on my leg. I bend down and pet Hana.
"Hallå, it's nice to see you too Hana." I smile just a bit. I look up to see Tino smiling with big eyes while giggling. I could not help but let a the smile grow on my face.
"Berwald... did you just smile?" He asked. I went back to my straight face and stared at him for a second.
"J-ja..." I said as I looked him in the eyes. He bend down to my eye level on the ground.
"Could you smile again... please..."
"I-I could t-try..." I stuttered. I tried to smile again.
"Wow!" I looked shocked at Tino's action.
"What?" I went back to my serious face.
"Your smile... it's amazing... why don't you smile more often?"
"I... I never had anything to smile about till... till I meet you..." I looked down and back up.
"R-really?"
"Ja." I smiled a little smile.
