I slowed my pace as the clouds began to gather in the sky. The sky was postcard-perfect, but now it was changing. The beautiful blue shade was beginning to darken into gravel grey. Large pillows of cloud were forming, and it started to rain.
Droplets of moisture began to drip from the leaves. They were sprinkling onto the grass like a gardener's hose. Then the rainfall became more intense. So much rain was falling that the sound blurred into one long, whirring noise. Eventually, the noise lessened and the drops faded into a musical chime, along with my thoughts.
"Taehyung?"
I turned my head only to be me with no one other than Jimin and Hyejin sharing an umbrella. Noticing my clouded expression Jimin explained that he was only walking her home because she said she didn't have an umbrella. And right at that moment I swore I saw her grin like the child that stole something and blamed it on another while watching in satisfaction.
I realized it then, that I'm no match for her.
