I was walking home and I heard foot steps behind me it was the first day I walked this route so I didn't know any other ways home. As I picked up the pace so did the person behind me, I got to the cross walk and it was about to turn to stop walking so I dashed across the road to hear Adam scream in concern. I didn't know why till I saw the drunk driver of a black ford pick up run the light. I tried to run out of the way of the baring truck but I felt it smash my left leg and I screamed hearing breaks screaming and Adam calling out my name.
"Adam-" AMANDA NO don't talk 911 was called your okay, you will be okay, but why. WHY did you run away from me.
I felt my body go numb and it started to sound like I was under water. Then I couldn't see anything but white. I felt like he won. My dad won he's been trying for years and now I'm going to die. But why was Adam behind me? Why do I feel weird around him?
I feel tears run down my face and someone holding my hand but who? Who is with me. Where am I. "M-m-mom" "amanda, dont worry sweety I'll be right back I have to get you a docter okay?" She left me, she was gone. She's not my real mom but I call her that to hid from dad. Just then the excruciating pain in my left leg comes back to me and I scream in pain and I still feel the hand holding mine. A male hand holding mine
"Don't worry amanda it's okay the docter patched you up and they have meds for you" I know that voice. But why....why is he here? He doesn't even know I'm still alive after the last time. So why now? When I told myself I didn't need him!?
