Fading of last Sunshine

You whispered in my ear when you were leaving.
"Love! I will be back until the fading of last sunshine,
To again kissed by you amid the silver drops of sky,
To again finish the glass half filled with red wine."

You came as you had promised but with forever closed eyes,
And made yourself a woeful mirage of my life.
You came in red as you had promised but indulged in blood,
Turned into grey and forever disappeared from the world.

They mourned and advised, forgot the day like a nightmare, so I did,
Now every twilight I stand at the shore of the street,
Staring as far as I could, in a hope to again see your smile,
Cause you promised me you will be back until the fading of last sunshine.
Won't you?
