~THIRTEEN~

I have been going steady with my sweet pea now for about 6 months, I was the happiest guy on the planet even when I had to go on tour for my album production because Kc and Stutter went with me. My album 'Machines of Our Disgrace' was a top seller along with 'Wish Upon A Blackstar', 'End of An Empire', 'Voices In My Head', and not to mention all the API Production albums I helped my blood brother Criss make successful. My latest masterpiece as Kc calls it my Scandroid Album most of the songs from it were dedicated to her, while she was in the hospital she loved every single song on it. I also made instrumental versions of everything for video game soundtracks.

But for now, we were at home sharing a little alone time after a long day of work. Abby and Mark were now married, and living in their own house about three blocks away from us. Kc and I made the smaller bedroom a guest room for when Criss and Rachel wanted to visit from Vegas for a few weeks. Rachel has been calling Kc almost daily, for the last few weeks blowing off steam, for she has been wanting Criss to ask her to marry her for over 2 months now and he still refuses to say a thing about it. Kc always manages to calm her down and reassures her that Criss loves her, and when she least expects it he'll surprise her.

I came into the bedroom towards the end of one of their famous conversations and heard the word marriage and jumped in the bed behind Kc, said that was a very beautiful word, and asked when was she going to accept my proposal for I have been begging her to marry me now for a few weeks myself but she'd give me her famous ear to ear smile and tell me not hardly that I was cute, but not that cute. I'd always drop down and pout for a while, and she'd step over me, like I was an old throw rug, and finish up her chores. but I wasn't worried, for I knew she would marry me if I really seriously asked her too but right now, I was just asking her jokingly just to tease her over Rachel's venting about my brother not asking her. I just wanted to put more kindling on the already stoked fire if you know what I mean.

It was a few days later, I got a phone call from one of my contractor's telling me they wanted me to do a gig at some benefit, and I would earn over half of the commission as soon as I told Kc it was a benefit for pediatric cancer she grabbed the phone and told him we'd be there, then hung up. I looked at her and said we? Would be there! she said it was for baby's cancer so she was definitely going to help out for the cause beens I did teach her to play the guitar pretty damn good along with my synthesizers and keyboards she wanted to be a part of it. I picked her up and said I wouldn't go if she didn't come with me anyway.

Once we got there the stage was already set up, as Kc was carrying my guitar for me she said I should take the guitar and take the front of the stage and she'd do the pre-recorded music on the keyboards in the background. I went over to the sponsors and shook their hands and had a little conversation with them as Kc hooked up the keyboard and my guitar to the amp. Afterward, they opened the doors and the crowd began to pour into the stadium. I hopped on stage and warmed up. Kc told me that I could perform any of the songs from Circle Of Dust, Celldweller, or my Scandroid music that my contractor gave me permission to. I started out with my Scandroid Album.

Even before the performance was over I had the crowd going crazy wanting more, after every song I got a standing ovation! It was totally insane!! but as always Kc knew that I was going to blow the audience away if I chose the songs from Scandroid because Circle of Dust was a little too hardcore for the young kids that were in the audience, but playing my remake of Shout, and Connection was the heavy favorites. Just for Kc, I played her favorite Celldweller song 'Switchback', as long as I did the dance to it too I played 'Frozen' while I was in the mood after the three-hour gig was over all the kids wanted pictures with me, and Kc along with my autograph on their shirts and hats it was the greatest feeling ever knowing that the money I raised was going for a good cause. Criss & Rachel magically showed up and he made a very large donation for the cause then joined Kc and me on the stage and did magic tricks for the kids as I continued to fill their ears with awesome sounds. Criss ended up putting Kc in a sleep state and levitated her for the kids, but when Criss wanted to make his girl disappear she ran up behind me and told me to make my brother leave her alone I kept playing and told her she was the one that wanted him to ask her to marry him. Kc jumped up and volunteered to let Criss make her disappear but I stopped the music and said OH NO! he don't that I want to keep my girl around then I pulled Kc in front of me and started the music up again after the crowd had a good laugh from it.

The benefit was now over, I told Kc I was tired and ready to go home and sleep it off so she unhooked the keyboard and my guitar, put them in the car, and headed home with two stowaways that wanted to hang with us for a few weeks. We showed them the guestroom and then told them goodnight. I drug Kc to our room wanting to snuggle before fooling around a little bit before finally going to sleep but instead of playing around she gave me a full body massage, I realized how tense I was. After her awesome hands were all over me, I fell asleep like a baby her hands were as magical as Criss's hands were at tricks speaking of magic...Criss was making a little magic of his own in the guest bedroom with his girlfriend until he finally tired her out, and crashed for the night.
