Its never the monsters that scared Dean. Not ever.

Even when he was a child he had found them fascinating, kind of like a horror fanatic even though those horrors were real.

It was the human beings that confused and frightened him. They were so unpredictable, so..... you didn't know what to expect when you bumped into someone. They could be a serial killer or a devout Christian for all you knew.

Monsters were monsters, sometimes a little complex but usually the same.

So the idea of a relationship made Dean nervous.

Dean knew Cas. He had been through it all with him. But if he ever explored beyond the solid wall of friendship he had with the angel, he was afraid that he would somehow lose him, because it would not be some one night stand. It would be something stronger. Something.... stable.

And Dean knew for a fact that a lot of nice things in his life tended to turn sour. He was surprised he had gotten this far with Sam and Cas. He did not want to push his boundaries.

Okay so maybe he did just a little.

Or a lot.

There was just something about that guy, that something growing and developing in the time that he had spent alongside Castiel that made Dean want to tear his clothes off.

He just loved those eyes, so blue and bright and that confused head tilt he made when he didn't understand certain phrases like "be there or be square" ("but why would i be in the shape of a simplistic quadrilateral if i am not at this certain meeting point, Dean?")

And that trench coat that somehow he manages to look good in.

Trench coats weren't supposed to look good on people, they were for shady drug dealers and creepy guys in alleyways, and yet Cas pulls the damn thing off like its nothing.

Asshole.

His thoughts were interrupted by (speak of the ironic devil) Cas.

He glided in with a six pack in each hand, the Angel wordlessly put a pack in the fridge and placed one in the counter. He looked weirdly domestic but it made him look...cute.

Dean shook his head.

"Where's Sam?" Dean asked, popping open a beer.

Castiel mirrored him, popping the top and taking a sip of his own. "Something about his laptop, he said something about a RAM but i don't know what cattle have to do with computers."

Dean rolled his eyes and chuckled.

The Angel grinned a little, he liked to look at Deans face. He liked his eyes that were so casual yet intensely bright. He liked all his little freckles that maybe Dean would let him count one day.

But above all, he liked his personality too. He liked his selflessness and his intelligence despite not realizing that Cas was into him yet, he would've thought that the man would notice by now, but Dean was still oblivious to the angels feelings.

Cas had the same problem.

He had seen the man with countless of other girls, he flirted with them as easily for him as it was to walk.

Castiel wanted what those countless women in the bars got, and more.

He wanted to kiss him, to hold his hand and have sex with him.

Alot.

Yes, lots of sex would be nice.

Maybe he could ask Sam what to do about Dean, Sam was always helpful to Cas.

He had considered ditching his male vessel for a female one, maybe then Dean would like him how Cas liked him.

But He really didn't want to change how he looked, he sort of identified with his vessel, it was who he was now.

He would do anything for Dean, and if that meant turning female, then that's just a sacrifice he would have to make.

***

The full moon was coming.

Derek didn't seem all that worried, he had all his betas under control.

Usually on the full moon, Derek would run around the woods with the pack, the humans who couldn't keep up rode on the wolves's backs. This would last around an hour, when the moon was most powerful, then they would go off in with their mates/partners to spend some time with each other.

Derek would usually take Stiles to an old camping spot where they would rigorously have sex until they fell asleep.

Derek would wake up in a pre-full moon bliss with Stiles' pale, naked body nestled against his own, the sun warming them both up and they would just lie there, staring at each other with love and memories of the night before.

Stiles always enjoyed full moons with Derek. The sex was a little rougher and Derek usually had his claws, fangs and glowing eyes out. Derek suspected that it was a turn on for him.

And Derek aimed to please.

But this full moon would be different for all of them.

The trashing of Peters room meant that there were hunters after them, and any hunter with half a brain would know that the pack would be out on the full moon so Derek told them to keep close this moon as when they stay together, they are more powerful and less of a target to those stupid hunters.

Or so they thought.

***

Cas was talking about the upcoming hunt, they decided to wait it out until the full moon.

It was Sam's idea, Dean didn't mind much really, this meant seeing his cousin more and that was great because Dean really liked the kid although Stiles would probably get on with Sam better as they were both total nerds.

"Dean? Are you listening to me?" The Angel grumbled, Dean hummed a 'yes' and Cas resumed talking.

Dean was too busy looking at the man to really take into account what he was saying he was trying to listen- really he was -but those lips were so enticing to him.

He just wanted to pull Cas by the tie and jump him in the middle of the kitchen dispite Sam being next door in the living room and the sheriff upstairs.

Dean hasn't felt so much lust for someone in his whole life.

Cas was in mid sentence, he was trying to be a good hunter and think about strategies and-

"Hmmph!"

Dean grabbed him by the lapels of that fucking trench coat and kissed him. Hard.

It was everything he had imagined it to be, his lips against the angels with that little scratch of stubble against his cheek that he wanted to feel everywhere on his body.

Castiel didn't have time to kiss back when Dean jerked away like he had been electrocuted, his eyes wide, lips slightly swollen.

"I...um.." Dean stuttered, looking down at his shoes.

He snapped his head back up, eyes angry and self loathing, internally scolding himself.

"Forget this happened." He snapped, not noticing the hurt look on the angels face as he stormed off.
