I was in year ten, and there was kissing all around, it was everywhere. Kissing in the classroom, kissing in the canteen, you get the point. Anyway I was really jealous. I was what the cool kids called a nerd. I had glasses, brown hair that went down to my shoulders, always had a pink clip in it. I always tried to ignore the cool kids, but it was so hard! But what I was proud of, they could never tease me for. I was the smartest kid in school. So every lunch, I sat with the 'nerdy' kids, and we talked about math. I looked across the room, and I saw one of my best friends, with a boyfriend. Her name is Katie, and she is the coolest kid in school. I was SO jealous! So I stormed over to her, and said, "Katie, we need to talk." All the cool kids stared, and then laughed. But I didn't care, I was to jealous to care. So I took Katie by the arm, and dragged her out, the cool kids still laughing. So I told Katie that she knew how jealous she made. Me when she gets a boyfriend. She just told me that my time will come, she told me that she couldn't help it if she got a boyfriend. So she just walked off, and I started thinking about what she said. Yes, my time would come, I just had to wait.
