Strange but Dead?

I was around 10 years old when it all crashed down. My sister Irene was 8 years old at the time and didn't have anything to do. I protected my sister from everything that came our way but one thing I couldn't protect her from was my parents. They always said they regretted bringing us in this world. One night my parents had left to go on a vacation which mean that would be a perfect time for us to escape. We roamed the streets and found that orphanage. We stayed in the same room and as a matter of a fact your sitting on her bed where she always read Alice in wonderland. On the second night we were awoken to do the ceremony. My sister told me that no matter what happened to her she wanted me to not let the world beat me down. When they hooked her up she died and blood covered over her face. I went next and while I was on that machine I thought to myself If I died here then maybe I could see her again.  I was wrong and instead I survived and gained the power to make force fields. You know what's funny you? You act so much like Irene and I remember one thing she said to me before. The world is a cruel place and it will beat you down so it doesn't matter if you punch harder what matters is that you will get up and take bullets from the world and never stand down. Something that always stuck to my head and I always remember that when I feel down I just remember about my sister and I feel better.

'' So do you know why the head master would do this?'' I said to Lucy. She sighed and said'' I don't know but I know that he isn't the bad guy in this story maybe he is doing this for a good reason''.  I stood up and said'' What type of person would test on children like that huh?''. Suddenly I felt pain on my cheek, Lucy slapped me? Suddenly hot tears poured out of her eyes. '' You think he's a bad guy but he just wants us to have a better life and this machine let the children go home and left some to restart a new life and If you don't like it then just die''. She charged out of the room and I stood there speechless. Wow I didn't know someone with such a stoic personality would be able to hold back that much pain. '' ay what happened Alice?'' a voice said near the door. I looked over to see Ace and the twins standing there with worried eyes.'' It's fine guys'' I said to them. Ace walked over to me and said'' No your not fine were all not fine''. Ace turned to the twins and said '' We all have to stick together and besides I found something we all have in common''. I raised an eyebrow and said'' What?''. '' We were all lost until we were found again you know?''  I turned to Ace and said'' sorry but I have been wondering can the twins talk?''. Ace looked back at the twins and said'' No they got their voices taken and were abandoned so they got sent to the orphanage and as for me I only just go left at the step of the orphanage when I was 10''. These kids have it deep Corwin, Teresa, Anastasia, Bart, Fala, Lucy, Ace,Darko,and Chand. I walked down stairs to see Anastasia reading Alice and wonderland. I sat by her and said'' So are you good today?'' She turned from her book and looked at the door and said'' Go up stairs and tell everyone the man in the suit is here''. I titled my headed and said'' Are you ok?'' She didn't answer but she just ran up stairs instead. I decided to go back to my room and maybe see if Lucy was there. I walked in and saw her hiding under the bed. I kneeled down and said'' Why are you hiding?'' She grabbed my hand and said' 'Shut up and hide under the bed''. She dragged me under the bed where I could see her shaking in fear. What was going on? Suddenly I could hear the front door open of the orphanage and the sound of walking down stairs. I crawled over to the closed door and looked through the peep hole to see a bald man with a suit walking around. The head master came out from his office and started talking with him. My body was quaking with fear I didn't know what would happen. The Headmaster and the Man walked into the office and I waited there for 30 minutes until the bold man walked out of the office and out of the orphanage. I ran down stairs and asked the headmaster'' what the hell was was that?'' The headmaster sighed and said'' Things that you don't need to know'' and then he walked back to his office. Teresa ran down the stairs and to me and said'' Hey I found someone with a power me and Anastasia are going to go find them and try to welcome them here want to come?'' '' Sure but how do you know it's a kid'' I said to her. She smirked and said'' Well you know my power''. Teresa, Anastasia and me walked out of the orphanage and looked for where the power was coming from. One part of me said it would be awesome to meet another person like us and the other part of me thought that maybe this would be a trap!
