The next day, the house was silent, even more silent than it the past month, giving everyone a small feeling of dread. Nobody could hear the small, insane giggles coming from Luan's bedroom, and whenever someone walked by the room, they felt empty inside.
All day long everyone avoided their room, scared of what would happen if they went inside. The silence made someone scared to even stand in front of it, like they were expecting some sort of creature to reach out and grab them.
Later on in the day, a few people claimed they could hear a faint music box and some whispers when they walked by the door. They also said they felt strange, like something was telling them to grab a knife and stab themselves to death, but they ran away from the door before anything happened.
Later that night, Lori stood in front of the door, getting ready to knock. She stood there hesitantly, afraid to, but she knew she had to check on Luan. "I don't know if I should do this, but I'm going to," she mumbled to herself as she knocked on the door.
Lori felt a chill down her back, but she knocked again, and there was silence. She looked around her, making sure no monsters would come and scare her. "Okay, Luan, time to stop being creepy," she told herself as she opened the door.
She expected Luan to be there, but the room was empty and dark, creepier than it was the other day. It felt abandoned, like this was something that was happening straight out of a horror movie.
She looked around for Luan, but didn't find her anywhere in the room. She felt her heart sink knowing that two of her sisters were gone with no trace left of them. She started to laugh to herself, unable to believe this was happening.
"It's okay, Lori, it's not your fault," she said, sighing. "Let's just leave the room and text Bobby."
She sighed and slowly headed out the room, looking at it behind her as she closed the door and headed to her room. She lied down on her bed, looking up at the ceiling, thinking about how she let two of her sisters somehow go missing with no trace left of them.
She closed her eyes and started to fall asleep, and she had a dream about everyone blaming her for Luna and Luan's disappearance. She felt like Bobby was the only one that understood what she's going though. She's always the one that's in charge, so she was responsible for everything that happened.
Nobody was blaming her for this, but she felt like they were. She pulled out her phone and started to text Bobby.
"Hey, Boo-Boo Bear, I need to talk to you about some stuff that have been on my mind. I know it's late, it's got nothing to do with you, I'm just really stressed out right now. Love you, Boo-Boo Bear. XOXO"
She then turned her phone off and waited for the response.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Luna and Luan sat next to each other, tied up and leaning against the wall that was hidden in the darkness. The dark figure chuckled, happy that it has the two it's been wanting for a long time. "Isn't the darkness funny?" It chuckled. "You're so afraid, why? This is nothing against you, it's just not everyone deserves to stay sane."
The two sisters just scooted closer to each other, whimpering in fear of what was going on. There was a smile that had many sharp teeth in the darkness, but that was all they saw. Chills ran up their backs as they tried to go as far back against the wall as they could.
"I want to go home," Luna whimpered as tears began to form.
"Me, too, Luna," Luan responded. "I want to go home, too."
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Lori's phone vibrated and she almost immediately picked it up to see the response that Bobby had sent.
"Sure, babe, go ahead, talk it out, say whatever you want to say, I'm listening."
Lori sighed and started to slowly type her message, trying to explain everything the best she could.
"Since Luna's been gone, Luan's been acting strange. Just yesterday she had some strange tentacles in her mouth, and I went into her room about five minutes ago and she wasn't there, the room looked abandoned. I feel like everyone is going to start blaming me for this...."
She sent the message and turned her phone off. She waited for a response for the rest of the night, but she never got one. She sighed and out her phone back on the dresser, thinking about everything that's happened.
"Maybe it is my fault," she said. "Maybe it's my fault they're gone and probably never coming back."
(A/N) This was fun to write, especially with the short part that had Luna and Luan, hehe.
Also I couldn't think of a better chapter title, so sorry about that. xD
Maybe after this story I could write an Undertale story, I've had an idea for a while, too, so that's good. Remember I said I don't want to just have stories for one fandom on this account. I might also make an update story to let you guys know about stuff, I'm not sure.
Anyway, thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed! I'll see you in the next chapter! x3
