Mr.Dobson's P.O.V
February 14th, the day everyone gets to share with that special lady. Well, actually man in my case. I walked into the tiny overpriced florist's shop and went to the front desk. I always went here because no one knew about this shop. There was a rather bored looking girl around the age of 19 leafing through a softball magazine.
"Ahem, um can I get a dozen roses?" I shuffled my feet awkwardly and rubbed the back of my neck, feeling the blush begin its creep up. "Mr.Dobson?" the girl asked. Oh shit. I didn't recognize her at first because of the years but now that I was up close, I could see that I knew this girl. She was a star student in my gym class, always a friendly figure and excepting, but what would she think now?
"-so who is the lucky lady?" The girl was now fluffing up the 12 plump roses in front of her, looking at me expectantly. "Ahem, you wouldn't know her Nicole." I blurted while having a staring contest with the floor. "Whatever you say home skillet!" Nicole yelled as I paid and headed toward the door. I rolled my eyes at the familiar yet distant nickname and drove away, visions of my lovers face dancing in my eyes as I battled the mid-town traffic.
Finally, I made it to school and was about to pull into my favorite parking space.... when I realized that Phil had taken my space.... again.
Now I usually don't say I hate anyone but when it comes to Phil my schools resident homophobe janitor, hell yea, I hate him. I'm convinced he knows my secret and that's why he always insists on parking in my space. He never parks in anyone else's place.
Deciding that today was a day for love and not hate, even for homophobic idiots, I pulled my truck into the space next to my usual one and got out along with my flowers. The clock read 6:15 A.M. by the time I made it to my classroom in the field house. I set my flowers down and tried to think of the least cheesy way to say what I was about to say.
Around 6:45 I was startled out of thinking by a soft knock at my door and a whisper. "Are you in there?" the mans voice whispered. I again made another decision, this time deciding to just get up and open the door. As I suspected the voice on the other side was none other than that of my lovers. Christopher Way stood at my door in all of his glory. He was perfect in every way I could imagine. He had the perfect pretty boy face, the nicest ass, and he was shorter than me which I found madly attractive because he always looked to me for protection. "Well are you just going to stand there, or are we going to discuss the final?" I asked him with a smile on my lips. I had no intention of discussing the final because we had 15 minutes until students began showing up and wanting in the gym.
