Mr. Young's P.O.V

I could hear yelling. The voice that was now the only thing keeping me sane, was yelling at a now semi-familiar voice that I had heard a few times over the past few weeks. All of a sudden it was over. My voice, the beautiful one that pleaded and begged me to wake up was crying, and somewhere in the distance a door was slamming. I tried to say something, anything but my body wouldn't allow it. I was stuck, standing in the middle of this stupid perfect pitch black area of my mind, or so I thought. All of a sudden, the area was lit up like an explosion of white light. It was a warm comforting light and all I wanted to do was walk into it. I wanted to feel warmth again, to feel whole again, to feel alive again. I walked into the light, and I could hear a distant beeping noise. There was a sort of finality to that noise that caused a chill to run down my spine. I looked back to the cold, empty darkness then into the light again. That's when I saw her. She had a sad smile on her face and opened her mouth to speak to me.

Mr. Way's P.O.V

My body was racked with sobs as Richard left. Why was he being such a douche? Jesse was in a coma for fucks sake! I cried harder as my eyes fell upon the comatose form of Jesse Young. The doctors were saying that if he didn't wake up soon they were going to have to pull the plug. Jess didn't deserve this. His family hasn't even been in to visit him. Trust me, I would know. I'm here everyday the moment work is over. All of a sudden, my ears were assaulted by the shrill shriek of a heart monitor flatlining. I was frozen. I couldn't move. I watched as the door flew open and nurses and doctors flooded in. "Charge to 300!" a young doctor called out rubbing the paddles together. He pressed them to Jesse's chest trying to bring him back, but failing. I watched the doctors try several more times, and fail. "Someone call it." the young doctor said grimly a sad look passing his face. "Time of death, 7:48 p.m." a small nurse called out. I fell to my knees sobbing, and a doctor laid his hand on my shoulder. "No! Jesse!" I sobbed and sobbed. Then just as the doctor was hauling me to my feet, a miracle happened. I heard the beeping of a heart monitor.
