Part -8
At Badi -
SwaSan are coming inside at that time they saw Ragini, Parvati (dadi), and Shekhar coming out of Gododiya Nivas. As soon as Ragini saw Swara she ran towards her and start crying by hugging her tight. Seeing this all become shocked.
Parvati - ladoo what happened to you?
Shekhar - Ragini beta still now you were fine then why suddenly you started to cry.
But Ragini didn't replied to them she was just crying hugging Swara while SwaSan are shocked seeing her like this. Swara was trying to console her but Ragini was just unstoppable. Listening her cry Sumi and Shobha (Dida) came out of Boss House and Dindayal (dadaji) too came out of Gododiya Nivas.
Swara - Ragini stop crying (braking the hug) and tell me what happened why are you crying these much?
Ragini- I don't want to get married Swara I want to study more I want to became a singer not just a house wife.
Plz do something and stop this marriage.
Listening this Parvati Dindayal and Sekhar became angry
Parvati - what is this ladoo how can you think like this? Is this what I have taught you
Shekhar- Ragini what is this we thought you were happy with this alliance
Ragini turned towards Shekhar, wipes her tears and said with a sad smile
Ragini - did you really think about my happiness. No papa you all only thought about your reputation not about my happiness.
Listening her Shekhar felt bed even SwaSab and Shobhistha also felt bed but Parvati and Dindayal were angry.
Dindayal- enough Ragini stop all this nonsense you will get married to Laksh and your engagement will happen today only. Now go inside the house and stay in your room only no need to come out. (To Parvati) Parvati you go market with savita (house helper) no need to take her with you. (To Sekhar) Shekhar lets go for other arrangement.
While going inside Ragini looks towards Swara and Sumi with hope while Swara and Sumi too look at her helplessly. After that Swara look at Gododiyas with anger and disappointment and went inside Boss House with Sanskar and Shobhistha.
Inside Boss House-
Swara - this is wrong Ragini already went through many things. This marriage should not happened.
Sumi - I think she should meet Laksh once and then decide what she wants.
Swara - but maa..(she was about to say something but Sanskar stops her by holding her hand and gesture through eyes not to say anything because Shobhistha don't know that Laksh is Sanskar's brother they only know that Sanskar's family got to know about SwaSan and refused to accept their relationship. After that Sanskar was thrown out of the house as he had chosen not to leave Swara. They don't know that he faked his death news as SwaSan told that he has some business rivals and for safety reasons he has to hid his identity)
Sanskar - ok maa you talk to Ragini and I will arrange Ragini's meeting with Laksh .
Sumi- ok.
Sanskar calls Nikhil and fixed a meeting for Rag_Lak throw Omi (Laksh's only loyal friend). After that Sumi calls Ragini and asked her to come and meet her at terece.
At terrace-
Ragini - what happened aunty? (thought Ragini and Sumi bonded well like a mother-daughter but still Ragini didn't starts to call her maa even sumi too didn't want this as she can treat Ragini like a daughter but not more then Swara. Only Swara has the right to to call her as maa and only Janki ,Ragini's late mother has the right of being called mother by Ragini. Some times it's necessary to draw some line for your own satisfaction.)
Sumi - Ragini I know that you are upset but beta I think you should talk to Laksh once and then decide what you want
Ragini - but aunty how will I meet him
"Don't worry Ragini I have fixed your meeting with Laksh in my hotel so you don't have to worry about anything." Said Sanskar who came to inform Sumi that he and Swara are going out.
Ragini - thank u jiju
Sanskar - jiju?
Ragini - sorry if u don't like I will not call you jiju
Sanskar - its ok Ragini you can call me what ever you want Swara has accepted you as her sister that means you are my sister in law now so no formality plz (Says this by caressing her hair with adoration)
Ragini hadls tears in her eyes and Sumi smiles seeing Sanskar's understanding nature.
After few hours
At SujRam Hotal -
Ragini was waiting in the restaurant area while SwaSan were sitting a little far so that they could watch over Ragini as Ragini was a little uncomfortable because for the 1st time she is going to talk with a boy that too with whom she doesn't know but going to get engaged after few hours thanks to her family. After sometime Laksh came and sat in front of Ragini. Sanskar was facing his back towards Rag_Lak table so Laksh couldn't saw him.
Rag_Lak conversation -
Laksh - hi Ragini
Ragini- hello
Both were thinking what to say and how to say. Ragini looked at Swara while Swara through eyes signal that everything will be ok. Finally Ragini gathering some courage says..
Ragini - plz cancel this marriage.
Laksh- what??(shocked) why Ragini don't you like me or you are saying this because of what had happened earlier.
Ragini- no its not like that. Its just I don't want to get married now
Laksh - look Ragini I don't know why are you saying this but I just want u to know that I love u (Swara Sanskar and Ragini get shocked hearing this) and I seriously do. Ragini today is our engagement you go home and get ready. We still have time till evening you think again and if by evening you still think that you don't want this marriage then I promise this marriage will not happened.
Ragini just listen to him but didn't reply. Laksh sighs and said...
Laksh - its ok Ragini don't think much I will not pressurise you for anything. Its getting late lets go I will drop u.
Ragini- no thank you I will go by myself you don't have to worry
Laksh- Ragini its ok I will drop you come
Ragini looked at Swara. Swara says her to go through eyes.
Ragini - ok lets go.
After Rag_Lak left Swara asked Sanskar that...
Swara- Sanskar what you think does Laksh really love Ragini?
Sanskar - I don't know Jaan I don't know anything (pressing his forehead by his fingers in tension)
Swara- relax Sanskar everything will be fine. I know you want to punish Laksh I know that you are hurt but I also know that you still love him, he is still your baby brother for you. Sanskar I am not saying you to forgive and forget everything but don't stress yourself this much plz.
Sanskar - why Jaan why he did this to me I had always loved him but he broke my trust by telling bade papa about us that too in a wrong way when I had clearly told him not to do so. He promised me but he broke that promise. I would have still forgive him as I loved him and I know he did all this in his childishness but when I got to know that after hearing my death news he didn't feel sad infect he was also involved in everything I felt shattered. U know na how much I Loved him. But what he did Jaan. why he did this to me, why?
Saying this he start to cry and Swara stood up and went near him
Swara- sshh.. Sanskar its ok plz don't cry plz. You know na I can't see you crying (wipes his tears) plz stop crying Sanku otherwise I will also cry plz.
Says cutely. Sanskar smiles a little seeing her cute face. After some time

Evening At Badi -
Gododiya Nivas was decorated as a new bride. Guests are coming and giving blessings to the new couple Rag_Lak.
Laksh was looking at Ragini lovingly while Ragini is lost in her thoughts. She was in a dilemma.
Ragini's monologue-
Today is my engagement and I don't know whether I want this or not. Few months ago I was happy and satisfied with this same alliance because that time I had a blind trust for my family and used to thought whatever my family will do it will be for my good and happines. That time I didn't know the cruel and real face of the world. That time I used to thought that everything is a fairytale where everyone is good but now I don't know whether I should be happy or sad. In these few months many things have change and mostly what has changed is my blind faith for my family. I don't know whether I should listen to my dadima and do what my family wants or should I do what Swara had said.
[Flashback -
After coming back from SujRam Hotel when Ragini was about to enter Gododiya Nivas Parvati stops her..
Parvati- Ragini where were you haa didn't your dadaji told you to be at home.
Ragini didn't say anything and went inside her room and Parvati too followed her. Parvati said...
Parvati - what happened ladoo you never behaved like this you have always done what we ask you to do. You never questioned our decision then what happened this time.
Ragini still didn't say anything Parvati cups her face and again said..
Parvati - listen ladoo what we are doing is doing for your good only plz ladoo don't do anything which will lead us in any trouble and shame.
(Says this by caressing her hair and then leavs.)
After sometime Swara calls Ragini.
Swaragini Phone Convo -
Ragini - hello
Swara - Ragini are you ok
Ragini - ha Swara I am fine
(said with a sad tone and Swara understand this very well)
Swara - no need to hide Ragini I am your sister as well as ur friend too. You can share whatever you want, whatever you are feeling right now. Trust me Ragu you will feel better.
Ragini- I don't know Swara everyone want this marriage to happen. Even today while talking to Laksh I feel he was saying truth that he loves me. But..
Swara- but what Ragini? Do you love Laksh?  Do you want this marriage to happen?  Think about your self first Ragini. You are a woman and in marriage it's women who needs to be more strong then men when it's comes to emotion and adjustment. It's a woman who leaves her surname, family, home, relatives, friends and her initial identity. It's a woman who needs to adjust with new people in a new home according to the new surroundings. If you as a woman can't be happy in this marriage then you won't be able to make your new relations strong. Neither you will be able to keep your husband and in laws happy nor you yourself will be satisfied. So think about yourself first then about what others want. An unhappy woman can not make a happy home.
So Ragini think about yourself what you want?

Swara- Ragini don't take stress much just relax and think with a calm mind and do what your heart say.

My heart says that Laksh truly loves me but I don't  love him. I don't want to start a relation where I can't give my 100%. I know if I marry Laksh then I will only be able to be an wife and daughter in law but not his love and if this happens this will not be correct for this relationship. No I can't marry him not at least now. Yes I have took my decision that I won't marry him. I won't get married before I achieve something. Swara was always right every girl should have her own identity and think about her happiness 1st before trying to make others happy, its very necessary.
Ragini came out of her thoughts when AP ask Laksh to put ring on her finger. Laksh took her hand but before putting the ring he asked..
Laksh - are you ready for this marriage?
DP - what type of question is this Laksh ofcourse she is ready am I right Dindayal ji
Dindayal - ji ji DPji. Laksh beta put the ring she is ready I am telling you na
Laksh - no dadaji I want to hear this from Ragini's mouth. (To Ragini) are you sure Ragini?
Shekhar- ha beta she is sure Ragini tell him that you want this marriage come on.

Ragini looked at everyone and Laksh and then said
Ragini - thank you Laksh for giving importance to my thought, my feelings which my family should do but.. anyway. Now coming back to the question that whether I want to marry you or not them my decision is no. I don't want to marry. You are a genuine person and I know the girl will be lucky who will be your wife. But I don't want to be that girl at least not now. I want to achieve something for my own. I want to make my own Identity. I don't want this marriage now Laksh. I am sorry.
Hearing Ragini's decision everyone were shocked as well as angry because this will ruin the family reputation where as Laksh was smiling through tears.
Laksh - all the best your future Ragini and I hope one day we will again meet and that time I will see you as a successful person.
Saying this Laksh went out and after that guests to starts to walk out. In anger and frustration DP insulted Gododiyas very much and after that Maheswaris too left the place. Gododiyas were angry on Ragini
Dindayal - Ragini today you have crossed all your limits how could you do this ha chii
Ragini- but what I did dadaji I just expressed what I feel
Shekhar - just stup up Raginj how can you talk to your dadaji like this from where you have learned all this ha
Parvati- I never thought that you will do something like this. I never imagined that you will became the reason for our shame. And what were you saying you want to make your identity. Don't you have your identity ladoo. You are Ragini Gododiya Shekhar Gododiya's daughter, Dindyal Gododiya's grand daughter then what else you want
Ragini- I also thought dadima that you all care about my happiness but all you care about is your reputation and dadima I want my identity my achievement why can't you understand this
Parvati- you were never like this
Ragini- I was always like this dadima it just that you never wish to know the real me. And I being blind in your love thought you all are always right and try to became the person whom yiu want to see. You people never cared for my happiness and I too ignore my wishes only due to you but not anymore and I will do what I want to do.
Saying this she went inside her house leaving Parvati, Dindayal and Shekhar shocked and dumbstruck.
