"That was crazy," I said remembering what happened this late afternoon. I look up at Jordan to see that he's looking out the window. I leaned back, accepting the fact that he's not interested in starting a conversation.I don't like him. I don't want to be his girlfriend, but that doesn't mean I don't want to be his friend. I like making new friends because I hate feeling lonely. Oh, I also hate awkward silences, like this one.
"That wasn't the biggest one," he said after a while, "but, sure"
"I don't think I can handle your life,"
"Yeah, I don't think so, either," a smirk playing on his face.
"If I wasn't here in public, where i'm not your supposed girlfriend, I would have slapped you by now," I said giving him a tight smile. I look at the people in the restaurant for a moment. "Anyway, are we just going to ignore the many stares we're getting?" I say indicating the many people that are staring at our table. Half of them are girls throwing daggers at me.
Jordan looked at them for a moment, "Let them be, at least they're not bothering us."
"Ah, sure," I said flatly. A thought appeared in my head, "You've done this before, have you?"
Jordan looked up from his plate and glared, "You just realized that now?"
"Who was it?" I grinned, raising my eyebrows.
He sighed, resting his elbows on the table. "Cassandra, Kara, and Tiana."
My eyes widen, that's quite a lot of fake relationships."I actually liked you and Kara being together," I paused, "my life's a lie." I shrugged, "Well, it's actually your life, so your life's a lie." I said, looking at him. A not so innocent smile plastered on my face as I watch him.
Jordan gives me a fake smile, "Have you ever had a boyfriend?" He didn't wait for my answer, "No? Thought so."
So that's how he's gonna play? Oh, it is on. "For your information, the girls you dated were there because of some contracts," I leaned forward. "So, if I were you I'd be doubting my skills."
"Hey, idiot, they're not the only girls I dated," he stated. "Not every relationship I had was made public."
"Why?" I asked like it's something i've never thought of. Well, I actually never thought of it.
"Can you just finish your food, so we can get out of here?" He leaned closer to me, "And maybe laugh at something I said, there's a pap a few feet outside the restaurant."
I peeked outside the glass window, "that wouldn't be so hard to do," I said. "Since everything that you've said is a joke." I scoop a spoonful of soup into my mouth. "You even look like one,"
"Oh, Alaska," He said faking a smile, "I am truly sorry for whoever you're going to date in the future,"
My patience is running thin."Since we clearly don't like each other," I paused, "give me one good reason not to throw this bowl of soup at you," I raised my eyebrows. I don't think I can take it anymore.
A smirk appeared on his face. "We're in public, babe."

"So, people are saying that you're dating Jordan Halden?"
I almost choked.
"Well," i stopped myself before I say something i'm not supposed to. You are 'dating' him, Al. "You can say that." I managed to say to the interviewer in front of me.
My manager told me that they were going to interview me about my upcoming campaign, my modelling life.
Someone lied.
Now, I am faced with Savannah interviewing me about my supposed love life for a magazine.
"What do you think of him?"
My eyes widen. Can someone just shoot me right now?
"Well, he's a nice guy ..." I drawled. I honestly don't know what I'm supposed to say. I suddenly realized that i've been playing with the fabric of my shirt. I stopped just for the sake of not looking nervous.
Savannah titled her head, confused at my lack of answer. "Anything else?"
I suddenly thought of something, "He's a good boyfriend," I said, "but he can be-" should I mention annoying? "-a little overprotective at times."
"Aw, isn't he sweet." Savannah said in adoration. Yeah, he's as sweet as a cup of black coffee.
"Yeah," i faked a smile. Years of standing in front of cameras trained me for this kind of stuff. To be honest, models can act, sometimes we need to for some shoots, but the thing with me is, I usually burst out laughing seconds later. Thank god I have no urge to laugh right now because i'm pissed off at someone who lied about the topic of the interview.
"How did you two meet?" Haha, get me out of here, anyone?
I avert my gaze to an empty wall next to Savannah. "Well, we actually met at a friend's birthday party." I lied to her face. "We bumped in to each other and ended up talking for quite a while. The embarrassing part was I thought I mumbled 'you're so cute' hoping the music will hide it, but apparently, I said it out loud." I said covering my face with my hand, pretending that the fake story I just told her is somewhat embarrasses me.
The management gave me that story. The 'I bumped in to a stranger I later date' story. That's not what really happened.
As if I said he was cute.
Wait, I sort of did, I guess.
