Brendons P.O.V.

Okay,I got all of Ryans favorite foods, blue Doritos,lollipops, Coca-cola, and gummy bears. I crept to my room and opened the door. Alice was singing. She never told me she could sing" "If they say why,why,tell em that its human nature,reaching out,touch a stranger,electric eyes are everywhere. I was behind her,and I don't think she heard me come in. She was cradling a crying Ryan. Stacey mustve really messed him up." If they say whyyyy,oooh,tell em why,why, why. La da,da da da da laaaa" she sang. She was really good. So good that I didn't even move from my spot. She was an angel. She stopped and looked down to Ryan. Nice,he fell asleep. She carefully slid out from under him. She turned around and bumped right into my chest. She started to fall back,but I wrapped my arm around her. We stared at each other for the longest until she said ." I sounded bad,you don't have to say it." She avoided eye contact. She tried staring at anything but me. She was so wrong, it made me sad that she always put herself down. And it hurt me more that she beleived every word she was saying." Alice. Look at me."I said. She look up,bet kept her eyes down."Alice..." she slowly looked up until she met my eyes." Don't say that. You were great." She smiled." Really?" She asked.

"Really."

"You know,you,Jason, and Ryan,are the only ones."

"The only one who what?"

"Who have heard me sing."

I smiled. It could be our secret.

* 2 weeks later *

Brendons P.O.V.

"NO! Your going to go to COLLEGE!Not become some rock star!" My mother yelled. I told her how I planned to be a musician after school this year. "Listen to her, Brendon." My father said. Why couldn't they accept it? It got me so mad. "If you want to be in some band,then you can't live here." My mother said.was she kicking me out? I ran out of the house. I couldn't stand being in the same house right now. I had to tell Alice. We had all gotten really close,and she had met Jon already,and kind of accepted him. I left the front door open. I ran to Alices door. I rang the doorbell. A minute later,Elizabeth answered."She's in the garden."she said. I nodded. I walked to their backyard. I felt like I was dying. They just kicked me out,like it was nothing. I got to the backyard and looked for her. She was sitting at a table in the very corner,under a short palm tree I always told her looked like an umbrella. She was drinking some green tea and reading a book. When she spotted me, her eyes lit up. I didn't feel like I was dying when I looked into her beautiful green eyes. She saved my life."Hey! Are you okay? We could go inside,you look tired. I shook my head and sat down." No, is it alright if we talk for a little while?but me and my big mouth..." I said."okay,and your mouth isn't big!" She said as she put down her book. I shook my head." When I smile,its like half the size of earth." I say. She frowned."I like your smile." She said. I grinned." Ill give you my smile,in exchange for your time." She laughed."thats okay." She nodded. So we talked about what happened." I could live with Ryan!" I said. "Okay,problem solved!" She said. And we sat there and talked until it got dark. I got up."I gotta go." I said. She hugged me."Hurry up, go call Ryan." I was walking when a familiar tune popped in my head."
