Jerome's POV
"Mitch, We need something happy in our lives." I say. I pull him to the car and drive us downtown. We walk up and down the streets, until we find this interesting machine. It's a claw machine, but it has these manikins with hats in it. Mitch runs over and starts playing. He knows over 2 of the heads, making them roll into the hole thing that makes them fall so you can get them. He runs back over to me with a head that has a hat that says 'Dope', and one that says 'Shh...I'm a midget in disguise' He gives me the dope hat and puts on the other. It's odd though, we're just walking around with 2 heads...MASS MURDERS! Not really though...(A/N Just had to add that reference from Mitch's hunger games.)
"So, biggums. How's life?" I awkwardly ask. He stops walking and just looks at me.
"What?" I ask again. He just continues to stare at me.
"Fine." I say, turning around slowly and walking away even slower. I hear footsteps behind me then a sudden weight on my back.
"TO NARNIA!" He yells. I start running down the street, keeping a tight hold onto Mitch. We get to the light, and I put him down for a second to rest. We walk across the street, hand in hand. We get a few stares, as usual, but this time it doesn't matter to me. We continue wondering around town until we come across this one store. It was called 'The stuff shop.' We walk in, to hear 'Don't Drop That Thun Thun' playing. Mitch and I, of course start dancing. The manager tells us to stop dancing in the middle of the store, but we still dance around awhile. There's actually some really cool stuff in here. There's even this giant gorilla head, that looks like a bacca. I put it on and walk over to Mitch.
"I AM MY TRUE FORM!" I yell, slurping afterwards. He starts laughing, as do I. God I miss his laugh. I haven't heard it in so long..I almost forgot what it sounded like. We keep looking around, not finding anything we want to buy. Mitch grabs my hand and starts pulling me down the street, super excited.
"What is it Mitch?" I question when he stops pulling. He point towards something above,and in front of us. Ferris wheel. We run over and buy tickets. We get on and immediately, Mitch leans his head on my shoulder.
"Mitch, I missed you so much." I say, remembering Jasmine and Tyler's painful beating and shocks. He looks up and kisses my cheek. His lips, yet another thing I miss about him. His eyes, his hair, the way he loves people, everything about him. The Ferris wheel starts moving with a sudden jerk, and we start moving in a circle. I look to my side and see the beautiful sunset. (A/N Look on the side.)
"Mitch..Look." I tell him. He lifts his head up to see. I see a smile form on his face.
"It's beautiful biggums." He replies softly. I look over at him, and kiss the top of his head.
"Yeah it is babe." I respond, smiling. All of a sudden.....He turns his head and kisses me. I haven't felt his lips against mine in so long.I kiss back of course, and he pulls away.
"I have a surprise for you." He says, seductively.
*Time skip 20 minutes*
"Please, just tell me where your taking me Mitch!" I say for the hundredth time. He un blind-folds me and I see the most romantic thing I've seen in a long time. There's the bed, covered in rose petal, with rose petals leading around it in the shape of a heart. He walks up to me and grabs my hands.
"We need a break. From all this drama. Will you come to Paris with me?" He asks. I nod in response. He smiles, and pulls me onto the bed so I'm sitting next to him.
"This isn't the whole surprise." He says, looking over at me.
"What's the rest?" I question.
"Later you will see. In about an hour or so. Go get dressed in this." He replies, handing me a black suit with a red tie, much like the one my Minecraft character wears. I turn on the shower to a temperature that doesn't burn the skin off my body, but it's not like becoming an ice cube. After my shower, I get dressed and walk out to the bedroom to find a sharply dressed Mitch.
"Why sir. I must say you look very handsome this fine evening." I say, in a British accent.
"Thank you my good sir. I shall say the same to you." He responds, in the same voice. He links our arms together and we skip down the hallway, saying
"We're off to see the wizard. The wonderful wizard of Oz!" A bunch if the residents yell at us for being to loud, but I disagree. We were being the same level as normal.
~Author's Notes~
So, I've decided to make Jerome and Mitch not married anymore. They will be dating. This is the same for Ty and Adam. I feel like it happened to early in the story and it was badly written. I decided to make a Merome scene since this book is supposed to be merome....yeah we failed that task. You guys seem to be enjoying it though! That's a good thing!
