Chapter 2~ Break Up:

"Im breaking up with you, Tessa," Jace said to the girl who stared down at the pebbled floor.

Jace wasnt sure if she was crying or not.

"How did I know that was coming!" she snarled, turning on her feet so Jace could only see the back of her, she stalked off, leaving Jace to his laughter.

People walked past him, some taking it as an oppurtunity to roll their eyes, while others simply stared into his eyes with admiration as though to say, "oh my god! he is so hot."

His laughter didnt stop until Cody walked behind him and he felt a poke on his shoulder, startled, he jumped around.

"Cody, don't scare me like that," he said, narrowing his eyes, as he folded his arms over.

Cody sncikered, his blue eyes rolling.

"Sorry, didnt mean to disrubt your laughter. I take it you broke up with Tessa, then?" Cody said, looking Jace in the eyes.

He nodded his head in response.

"I have a new target now. She's new and lives across the road from me. Shay Dyer," Jace said, thinking back to yesterday afternoon where he had stopped at her house for a short visit.

Cody rolled his eyes, sighing.

"Sometimes I regret giving you this bet. As fun as it is to see, dude, can't you even take a small break, say a week or two?" Cody suggested, eyeing Jace.

He shook his head.

"I would think about it, but nope, I need to win over Shay, go out with her, then dump her. Maybe then I can take a break," Jace smirked.

"Well in that case I will warn you, have fun trying to get her," Cody told Jace, his lips pulling into a small smirk.

"Cody, I get every girl I want, whenever I want. Nobody could deny this," he points to himself, a greedy smirk gleaming on his face.

Cody rolled his eyes at Jace, and how cocky he sounded.

"Well I am giving you a warning right now, you don't get to have everything you want in the world, Jace," Cody snarled at him, stalking off to a group of boys that stood a few metres away from where he was standing.

Groaning, he wandered over near the canteen despite the fact nobody was there, as it was the morning.

It only took him a minute or so to get there, and when he saw who was standing there, laughing at something a black headed girl said, he widened his eyes with an increasing amount of shock.

It was Sarah Connarly, the first girl he ever went out with. 

Jace staggered backwards a bit, his heart speed increasing, thumping against his chest.

She was back.

When did this happen?

Why was Sarah back?

He thought the questions to himself.

Nervously, he wandered to where he was before, his arms crossed and one of his fingers tapping at his arm, his eyes wandered across the place.

He tried his best not to think about her, the break up, what she did to him.

To him it seemed that everyone he used to know was coming back into his life.

His mum, and now his ex girlfriend; Sarah.

Sure he was well and truly over her considering how many girls he had played and done, but to say it was off putting that she appeared out of nowhere was an understatement.
